You can say this site is crap, drama filled and unsocial. But the years I have been here I have made some great friends. This site is the first, and really only social site I have joined.

And I was very happy to add Requiem to that list this last week. :) Such a light in the world, happiness just poured out of her. You just leave her feeling that your heart has been lifted.

I still have a long list of folks I wish to meet from this site.

But when I see folks complaining, hating on the site I just wonder- what are you putting into it? Because I have only taken good from it. I have gained several friendships, a support group, and a group of people who do not judge or hate on each other. We just let each other be, and love each other. Ones that helped me during my lost of both parents, a change in my life of jobs, encourage me to keep taking photos.

Just a simple message here or on Facebook let's us stay connected. Not everyday but enough that we know we are there for each other, always.

And a loss of Ann, our beloved Doe. One on my list that I refuse to strike out as I am sure, in some form, we will meet. I see her in the morning sunrise as I walk, in the deer I often see in the morning. She is with each of us, in her own way.

So yes- this site has always given to me, never taken.

Movie King Arthur seen with Birdy *AKA Elemental* at the matinee. It was nice to just shut the phones off and enjoy time lost in the movie.

Jude Law= loved his outfits, the fur white cap, the black leather. Sexy!

And the music was fantastic.

Good to be back home in my own bed. But trip to WV. worth it. Photos looking good and another location off the list. Thinking I am done with prisons for a while.

Just log in using my phone. Ha... now I get it. Way cool using it, sure is nice and easy to roam about.

Just have to get use to it on the laptop is all.

Phantasm is very intuitive. If you force yourself to only use Phantasm for a few days you'll quickly adapt to it.

And yes, this was all done to bring mobile into the fold. I stay logged into VR all the time now when I am out and about, because it's so easy to use via phone.

Anyone posted new photos to the portfolio yet? I can get it to download *and LOVE that it resizes it now* but it is turned on it's side. Hmmm... not how I downloaded it.

Got prison photos I need to share damn it. lol

No- it wasn't me doing time. It's a closed down old prison.

Old buildings, closed down, abandon is my style.

I'm not sure exactly what you're experiencing, but I have noticed that some photos I take on my phone and then post on the site are 90 degrees rotated. I think Google Photos automatically turns/rotates images into an orientation they think is correct. I take a lot of phone cam shots at 45 degree angles.

I had to load the images into paint, rotate, re-upload to VR.

I'm sure there's also numerous apps out there that will rotate photos. It could easily all be done on the phone.

New site- getting use to. I know that it is gear toward mobile users but I am old. lol Meaning I don't use the phone but for texting and phones.

But now that I have the old layout in place, so the menus are on the sides so I don't have to scroll down to the bottom to hit site map, I am liking it a LOT better.

Sure everyone else loves the site- I will learn.

Like I did 12 years ago as VR was the first 'social' site I joined.

New hardware was purchased. The new site runs much much faster. Average page load time is about .05 seconds.
