Masses are always breeding grounds of psychic epidemics
Synchronicity is not a philosophical view but an empirical concept which postulates an intellectually necessary principle. This cannot be called either materialism or metaphysics. No serious investigator would assert that the nature of what is observed to exist and of that which observes namely the psyche, are known and recognized quantities. If the latest conclusions of science are coming nearer and nearer to a unitary idea of being, characterized by space and time on the one hand and by causality and synchronicity on the other, that has nothing to do with materialism. Rather it seems to show that there is some possibly of getting rid of the incommensurability between the observed and the observer. The result, in the case, would be a unity of being which would have to be expressed in terms of a new conceptual language a "neutral language," Pauli once called it.
Space, time and causality, the triad of classical physics, would then be supplemented by the synchronicity factor and become a tetrad, a quaternion which makes possible a whole judgment.

There synchronicity is to the three other principles as the dimensionality of time is to the three-dimensionality of space, or as the recalcitrant: Fourth" in the Timaeus, which, Plato say, can only be added "by force" to the other three.

Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darknesses of other people.
There is no coming to consciousness without pain.
As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light of meaning in the darkness of mere being.
Understanding does not cure evil, but it is a definite help, inasmuch as one can cope with a comprehensible darkness.
It is a fact that cannot be denied: the wickedness of others becomes our own wickedness because it kindles something evil in our own hearts.

It is that we are never so defenseless against suffering as when we love, never no helplessly unhappy as when we have lost our loved object of its love.

WHISPERS IN THE DARK
Silence all the laughter
Everyone has gone.
Leave me here
Let life roll along.
Shut out the light
I don't wish you to see.
This empty existence
Now en-capturing me.
Close all the doors
Let no one In.
The Dark is my prison
This is my Hell.
Block out those sounds
Let life roll along
I can still hear the music
But its not my Song.

A Road Less Travelled
Metaphorically speaking, someone who takes 'the road less traveled' is acting independently, freeing themselves from the conformity of others (who choose to take 'the road more often traveled.'), generally making their own choices, and perhaps leaving a new trail that will become the road more often traveled (until, of course, someone takes the road less traveled from there, and happens upon something even better than the first improvement; in that way, the cycle always repeats itself, and Wikipedia is continually made better).
The idea of doing things differently to how they are usually done is arguably particularly applicable to Wikipedia. For example, if a person (as an editor or as a reader, for example) happens across a way to do any thing in a 'better' fashion than is commonly done, then the risk of taking the road 'less traveled' may seem desirable. Of course, if this is done repeatedly, this 'road' might become a trail that will become the road often traveled.
