Very good- and even more interesting is you captured that 'blah' look that was actually on the *inside* that day... I wondered why some people liked the photo because I could see it and they didn't mention it... it's more pronounced here- so you have an eye for the moment I was having. You even capture that I have a crooked mouth- that's TRUE! lol Other artists have drawn it 'away', as if I should be better than that... but I like the truth in this. I am an easily cartooned person as I have all these rounded features to my face. I don't have the sharp features of most of my family- which makes me feel genes have skipped and landed in me generations later.

Like I said in message- distinctive curves to your sketches that I like and give your artistic thumbprint.

My favorite part about this piece were your glasses. I always find that it adds a lot of character to the face. :)

Something about me- I used to do fan art. Eating skills that other people had. Comics, mangas, anime, indie comics, fine art and so many other pieces. Hours spent at the library reading. Some books as small as a newspaper, others phonebook size. I enjoyed myself in the art section for so long that I never kept track of how many I would borrow. Hence why my card is screwed. >.> Well, you see what happened was.... a move. lol

Back to the point. When I draw the teeth, I always think of my favorite vampire, Alucard from Hellsing. When drawing him, I learned how to make such a smile.

I decided on this project shortly after being rejected from an art contest. Yes, I was hurt. Fan art- in my middle teens I got into a book called "Vampire Kisses", which, by the way, is probably boring, stupid and all around lame. People at the time were into books like Twilight and Du Freak whatever that title was. I wanted an escape to read something people didn't like. I thought the manga based on the books were horrid. Yet there it was, a contest. Age 17 and I was so sure in winning a place on the back of the release of the new manga in the series. No. I got nothing.

After being a LOSER, I realized, I should draw people, for the people. They're the real winners of life. Who is any lame author to judge me? Hah! Fuck that, fuck everything out there, I'm The Artist Rose and I will rise.

Woo boy. I've been up all night and only got 3 drawings done. I'm one sleepy woman.

Spent a lot of time typing out the same dribble, again and again. Now I know how some site masters feel when no one reads the rules. x____x

Got a troll and a job offer. xD But I'm not taking the job offer unless I have documents. ;) Besides, there's only one author I'd trust hands down with my work. Haha. Anyway- here's my last piece for now.
