In 1982, when I was 18, I was initiated into a coven of Witches. All things dark and mysterious have always been special to me and I have always been especially drawn to the night and the moonlight. My earliest memories are of being a small child and feeling special in the moonlight. I still find it quite magical. Spending 20 years with one coven was an amazing experience. In recent years, I have continued on as a solitaire practitioner and have become quite eclectic in my ritual workings.

In recent years, I’ve been drawn to all things Gothic and having to do with Vampires. I have always had an interest, but lately it has become an insatiable thirst (pardon the pun). Many of the Gothic Images displayed here sing to my soul in a way I can’t put into words. I feel like I belong here.

So, am I a Vampire? I think I am. What I’m here to learn, and figure out, is what does this mean to me. I’m not sure yet. All I know is I’m drawn to the darkness, the sensuality, the mysteriousness, the magic and the seduction. I know there are many books and I began reading some time ago. I welcome suggestions and discussion in these matters. I will write about my journey as a Vampire Witch in my Journal.

I’m an avid genealogist and love learning about my ancestors. This vocation has taken me to many cemeteries and I have learned that I feel so at home and at peace in graveyards. I’m magically drawn to them.

I have an affinity for reading Tarot cards and have been doing it since the 1970s. Family and close friends often seek me out when they need help with situations life may throw their way. Like most everything I have already spoken about, I am heavily drawn to the Tarot.
