And after two fubar'ed calls from Scott's work, we finally got moving at noon to get some beads for a needlework project, my scale for the bathroom, and assorted necessities...
After having Scott put in the batteries and explain the scale to me (yes, it is one of THOSE) I found out that in the two weeks since I started this, I have lost 7 POUNDS....

up across the park, and up the stairs instead of climbing the hill- extra graded hill up 3 blocks to drop a letter in the mail box, then down two blocks, up 3 blocks and back to the house- and all this without breathing too hard, but I did break a good sweat.
STILL need to get a set of scales for my fat ass...lol

stayed away from the bread
Came home, folded clothes, cleaned up the kitchen, put up clothes, and went for my hike
Back: 2 cookies, one apple
Snack: 2 babybels, 6 crackers, jam on each
total glasses of water so far: 3
Got up at 11, thanks to the vacuuming demon upstairs...
Scott wanted pizza buns for lunch- these consist of:
hamburger buns, each half spread with a spoonful of a mixture made of grated cheddar, tomato soup, and pepper. I had 4 halves, and a handful of radishes. Scott on the other hand, had 8 halves...lol WITH bacon.
Yes, I had a coke, but I cut it 50/50 with club soda- more bubbles, less sugar.
Soon as I get everything cleaned up, I'm off for my hike.

Later that day:
Nope- walk didn't happen- I'm just too lazy today- holiday leftovers I suppose-
2 bbq pork chops, and a spoonful of homemade au gratin potatoes, one can coke.
God, I feel sluggish...lol
Well as I stated before, I woke up at 10 am, spent a few hours on VR to get caught up after sleeping for 14 HOURS...lol
Scott has been playing FF XII since 3 pm YESTERDAY, and of course as soon as I said lunch the first thing out of his mouth was McDonald's...lol
So yes, I fell off the wagon for a meal- a dbl 1/4 pounder with cheese meal- yes, I got a regular size, yes, I got coke, but I only ate a handful of the fries, gave the rest to him.
As soon as I get caught up, it's gallop around the block time for me...

Rules we learn as we get older....
1) Never take a laxative in the middle of the day
2) If you do take said laxative, NEVER eat at McDonald's for lunch
3) If you DO take said laxative AND eat at McDonald's do NOT go for a 13 block hike...

Ground beef, seasoned with taco seasoning, lettuce, tomato, green onions, lite taco chips, kidney beans, cheese, ranch dressing and ketchup ( first EEEUUUWWW I get, you guys are hurt)

My one claim to candy for the week- a twix bar.

By 9 pm, I was on the couch snoring, who KNOWS why- slept until 10 am this morning.
Day two- went to the mall with Scott, and post holiday, walking that thing is even worse than my 6 block stint, lol The thing is the equivalent to 10 city blocks, and dogding traffic makes it more so.
Dinner- one burrito with beef, beans and cheese, salad with Italian dressing, 2 scoops mexican rice, one scoop beans, large pepsi (hello, Taco Time)

While techinically it is not the first day of the year, I was hungover from New Year's Eve- so sue me....
So today I decided, with the help of a few friends, and any others who care to join, that this year I am going to get my life back. That includes, but is not limited to (yes, I can speak legalese same as Khayman- spend three years being sued by your stepmother, you'll fucking-A learn) losing all the weight I piled on from various and assorted problems.
1) a painful divorce
2) my aborted first attempt to get to Canada
3) NOT working for the time being
4) just plain being lazy.
I don't like myself the way I am - I have no problem with being healthily shaped, as in voluptuous, but I do draw the line at wheezing when I walk more than a few feet at any given time, and not being able to fit into any of my clothes. YES, I had a baby, at a late age, YES I drank alot, YES I ate crap more often than not when I was working.
That stops now.
I cannot go back to work as a bartender in my current condition. My doctor is already starting to throw around the D word, as in diabetes. I do not want to be on meds any more than I already am.
So far we are three. I fully expect that number to swell once this makes the journal page.
Chordewa, Vampirewitch39, and I are taking our lives back, and being the best bitches we can be. Any and all who also wish to chime in, feel free.
I will not go to New Orleans looking like this. I want to have FUN, and make sure it is the best time I ever had.

I have decided to start getting up at a specific time, namely 10 am, and walking. I will keep track of what I eat each day, what I drink, and how much I exercise.
So far today, I have had 16 oz. of water.
I walked my usual track- 6 blocks up, one block down, and 6 blocks back home. The 6 blocks up is also upHILL.
I will enter my stats once every two weeks, so that I don't get too stressed over it. That would defeat the purpose.
Dinner at 5 pm - 2 pork chops sauteed in margirine, worchestershire sauce, and lemon juice, rice, and green beans.
later- 3 eggs scrambled, with cheese, two pieces of toast, strawberry jelly, large glass milk
before bed- small piece of apple cake.
