I may not be AS intelligent as you but I can hold my own most of the time. What gets me is how completely naive and gullible you are. I'm not necessarily saying that older is wiser but I will say that in this case and the fact that I not only have lived twice as long as you, I have a shit load of life experience, had my share of hardships, have met all kinds of people from all walks of life and while you may call me a pessimist I call myself a realist. I cannot ignore the obvious and more times than not I see what isn't so obvious. You can be so blind and it pains me to watch. We argue over our differences of you and your "face value" and me being "Captain Obvious". I would just let you go about this way but there are times I have to have my say because your choices and failure to see through the bullshit does in fact effect my life too.
No. I am not always right. And age doesn't necessarily mean maturity or wisdom. But I refuse to walk through life with blinders on.
I really hate to speak in public. Generally speaking I am not a shy person but there is just something about standing in front of a large group of people and knowing that all eyes are glued to you and quite possibly picking you apart in their wee little minds that makes me quake in my shoes. And tomorrow morning I have to give a speech in class, one where my memory needs to perform at it's best but what's worse is it covers some heart wrenching, soul bearing personal crap about myself, things that are hard to admit and address. I will most likely cry. I hate crying in front of people, it makes them uncomfortable and me too. But I'm pre-menopausal and the subject is touchy. UGGGH.
Yep, I bet you all thought that last entry was going to be a bit more juicy, perhaps lurid even. Sorry to disappoint you my pretties, it would of been a bit more exciting for me too believe me *yawns*.
I just had a phone call from a number I didn't recognize but I decided to answer anyways, the first thing out of their mouths was "who is this?" in an abrupt and rude way. My answer "NO, who are YOU, YOU are the one calling me". I don't know what she expected but it threw her off a bit. She stutters and says she had this number on her phone and didn't recognize it then gives me her name, I tell her I don't know her, give my first name, she apologizes, blah blah blah and we end the call.
I hate that shit. Have some manners people, learn some phone etiquette while you are at it. Thus the reason my number is unlisted and will forever stay that way. Also the reason I usually don't answer the phone to numbers I don't recognize, my bad for breaking my own rule lol.
I just watched one of the best movies I have ever seen, I was truly mesmerized and I am a tough sell when it comes to films. Natalie Portman was freaking amazing! It was wicked and engrossing. You really should see it if you haven't.
