Okay so can we all agree that things are getting out of hand?

As I read journals and the back and forth, I’m left to wonder where things have gone wrong.

So I propose we change our thought process, reprogram so to say, to a time period known as Woodstock!

Back in 1969, a core bunch of people were signing, dancing & shouting ‘Make love and peace not war.’

Let’s listen to the music, dance a little, smoke a little from the peace pipe & do some psychedelics and stop all the craziness of late.

Bring it in for love & peace.

Buns - I think your unhappiness comes from a TOS violation, which this wasn’t intended. It’s the drama filled journals back and forth bs that’s going. Weed, and psychedelics always help resolve these type of issues.

All in all tonight was a success. I saw, I concurred, and I indulged. What better way to salvage a Friday night?

I’m in love with a team of musicians that are young enough to be my children but their talent make them old enough to be my parents. The quagmire I’m in.

I chair danced, I drank, I sucked in energy and now I shall bask in it all, the glory.

All in all, a winner of a night.

So in my little southern beach town, they are recreating Woodstock as a 2 day music festival.

Well, prior to my injury, I bought tickets for both nights.

Was hesitant to attend due to all the preparations necessary since it’s been raining cats & dogs.

But MUSIC of the 1960’s called my name, my mind, my body and my soul.

Armed with a garbage bag, I ventured into the depths of the rain, with garbage bag as a rain coat for my boot cast.

And then something amazing happened ...

...I was transported to a time when people preached peace, danced freely and sung songs with messages relevant then and now.

OMG it was fantastic. For five hours I listened to various artists recreate the artists of the ‘60s and bring forth a feeling inside me of peace and greatness.

I chair danced and had a great time!

I love all music. And I love talented artists who can transfer you to another era.

Tonight was a win on so many levels.

Now it’s time to rest my ankle & leg, which is angry at me & being a brat!

Here’s to hoping I can make it tomorrow night!

So far, I’ve watched the entire John Wick movies - absolutely amazing! Got a thing for hitman.

Watched and up to date on Criminal Minds.

Now know the scoop on zombies in Seattle thanks to I Zombie.

Toss in some random movies to spice up life and lift the spirits.

And now, I’ve moved on to Trueblood, starting with season 1 and working my way through.

It’s been a tail spin, being cooped up due to my injury but at least I’m trying to have some fun.

So, Sunday night I went out to see a cover band. I was excited! To get out of the house, be around people & hear some music!

So it was a challenge getting from the car to the entrance of the venue, uneven ground & my knee scooter didn’t move smoothly.

But OMG so worth it for the treat with opening bad. They were just kids but holy shit they were AWESOME! I was rocking it out in my ADA stool (that’s seating for someone with disabilities.)

Then the Pink Floyd cover band came one. WOW What a treat! Really having a good time, even if my ankle is pounding and it’s a tight squeeze with my knee scooter in front of my stool.

Now, introduce David, House of Blues North Myrtle Beach Employee. He gets into my face- ‘You can’t be here with “that.” “That” being my knee scooting aka mobility device.

Long & short he moves me from my assigned seat to this crap seats, tells me the venue does have to comply with the ADA, and implies I’m lucky I’m even allowed to be in the place.

Needless to say, David made me angry, but after chilling out, I enjoyed the rest of the show, even if I couldn’t see the stage.

Lessons learned - uneven surfaces not good for knee scooter, Great music Awesome, and David from HOB is an ass!

So I got my boot cast yesterday, I was wearing a modified splint made from half my cast.

Omg - moves my ankle around and was almost in tears!

I swear when I do something, I strive for gold! This time I think I got 2 gold stars!!!

Oh boy, oh boy, did I really do myself in. It’s no joke that I’m no weight bearing for another 2 weeks!

The struggle is real!

Two more weeks of no weight bearing on my leg and hence I must ride on my scooter!

Cast is off, but limitations are still in place! So back I go to my Hubble and trying to find movies to watch. I’m even trying to figure out a new series to latch onto!

Youthgonewild - an oldie but goodie! He’s been MIA for a good time and he remain in my thoughts and prayers, but his memories always stay fresh.

He’s not the first person I met, but he’s one of the first. He and I started exchanging messages, and our thick as thieves bound was formed.

During our friendship, he shared in my pains and gains. He was a rock to lean on and someone to party with when greatness prevailed.

He always was willing to lend a hand, an ear or anything to make my life easier, regardless of cost to him.

He did everything in his power to make me smile, to bring happiness to my day.

I know his heart extended to many, and for that he made VR a better place.

As I nominate him here, I pray he’s safe and sound wherever he is now.

Seidr - I owe him my life! He’s my dear beloved friend, he’s from the other side of the pond, and yet we’ve connected in such a way that binds us stronger than blood!

I was in a really bad spot, dark spot, a dangerous place. He took a risk and in doing so he saved my life! It takes a lot to intervene and stand up to someone who on occasion can be thick headed and one dimensional.

In turn, we have forged an breakable bound.

He’s helped with coding, we’ve shared our love for rap (even took him to a Cypress Hill concert via Skype) and we celebrate birthdays, regardless of what’s going on in our lives.

He makes me smile, laugh and be grateful for life.

He’s entrusted me with his prized possessions and thinks nothing of it, and I do the same.

He’s a peacekeeper and an all around awesome guy!

ABHORASH is the next to highlight. Our relationship is young yet he has proven to hold the same core beliefs as me, comes from the same world I come from, walked the same path as I walked.

I took a chance on him, and it paid off. He has been a sounding board, a support network and an all around good soul to me during times of distress.

Albeit in a world wind of disarray, he opens his heart up to me, listening to my qualms and offering sage advice to help me through my darkness. He’s struggling with his own issues, yet to my ears, I wouldn’t know.

For that, I thank him and honor him.

Erinyes - she’s my bff, she’s my confident, she’s my mother, she’s my teacher.

She’s not the first person I met, but she is someone who has always been there for me, through thick and thin. Even after a family fight (I don’t what family doesn’t fight,) we worked it.

When I’m at my lowest, in my darkest of dark places, she’s there for me. She’s the first person I call, she’s the person I trust with the intimate details of my inner workings.

Got a question - normally she’s got an answer!

For all the times she’s had my back, for all the times she stepped into mom role, for all the times she’s been an ear to listen, a friend to lean on, I thank her and highlight her here today.

Now that I finished my series, and I have another week and a half sheltered in place, I’m looking for suggestions on what to watch next.

I’m thankful for all the love and support given to me during my times of need.

Right now I’m becoming a recluse. And I need to drawn out of this state of mind & back to reality!

Effective immediately call me Princess!

I’m joking but since I’ve been put in this cast, I’ve being called Princess by family & friends! I’m generally an independent person, rarely asking for help.

But this humbling experience has required me to ask for help, it has left me on the second floor - where the family room, my bedroom & full bathroom is located.

Every day my meals, beverages & mail are delivered to me. I’m watching series on my fire stick and hanging out with my fur babies.

I’ve had magazines delivered to me too.

I’ve had my laundry done for me.

In the honest truth, I’ve been waited on like a spoiled brat aka Princess.

In the truth, I’m loosing my mind, my inner being is loosing it, and I can’t wait to be independent again, but I find it comical that someone who prides themself on being so independent is now the equivalent of a Disney Princess.

So humbling.
