It is toooooooooooo cold here. Heat on, flannel gown, socks shoes, two blankets....and my feet are STILL cold.

Latest update on Nightgame/Cat/Connie....

She is out of the surgery and in recovery. The tumor was larger than they thought it would be and they had to collapse her lung to get it out. However, the lung is working fine now. It is my understanding that a biopsy is in process as well.

She is in the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

I will be making one last phone call tonight to make sure she is awake and out of recovery.

I Finally have my tree out and lights on it....but no ornaments yet.

Presents that I have bought....wrapped. I still have more to buy it seems.

And.....I made rice crispy treats....:)

I JUST got mine up too- 3 footer, so cute, but REAL. nice lights, presents finally wrapped and underneath except for the one still on it's way in the mail.

Rat best be HAPPY......it is SNOWING and we are expected to have 5-8 inches or MORE.

The reception went GREAT!!

My parents were suprised and so happy.

I have the BEST family and the BEST friends I could ever imagine. When the chips are down or the time is short they are there....in bad...and as in this case.....good times as well.

It could not have been pulled off as well as it was without them.

Thanks everyone....and on here..yes it is Rat and Cat that I am talking about. And they know who else helped out in my family and how much I love them all.

This coming Sat is the celebration of my parent's 50th anniversary. I am hosting a surprise celebration for family, friends and their churches. I REALLY hope things go well for them...and I don't screw up the cake getting it there.

They never had anything when they got married. They eloped. No pictures, no cake, not even a wedding dress for Mom. The preacher and his wife were woken up and he married them in their living room......in his house shoes.

I am hoping this turns out really really nice for them.

Wish me luck!! (And a prayer or several would not hurt my feelings at all!!)

Good luck and best wishes. Might be cool to get her best dress and a blazer for your father and renew their wedding vows in front of everyone. But, no matter what....I'm sure that they will love the thought behind everything.
