**THE ALPHA**

ROLE:
The Alpha is the highest ranking wolf in a pack. The Alpha's job is to lead the pack and keep peace with the other packs of the forest. The Alphas are the strongest and bravest of all the wolves in a pack and make the laws and decisions for all the members. Wolves may attempt to challenge an Alpha, but such an insult and blatant show of disrespect will most certainly mean exile at the very least but any wolf whom dares challenge an Alpha, usually don't live to tell the tale.

DUTIES:
The Alphas are in charge of the entire pack and makes all the final decisions. They oversee everything that goes on from the training of apprentices, the Curador(a)'s herb stockpile and even whom is mate with whom. Alphas are the only one who can banish and demote a wolf or replace the Elites and Curador(a) with another member. Alphas often call up upon their entire pack of meetings to discuss matters such as sickness, border expansion and war between packs. Alphas have the final word on everything and anything, an Alpha's word is final and there are dire consequences for broken pack laws.
