I have very strong views and beliefs, that do not easily falter. My religion is one that draws upon many others, but in the end most closely relates to Satanism, both Laveyan and Theistic. I do not drink, smoke, or do any form of self-harm because of my beliefs. I love to learn and debate, not just about religion, but about anything, it helps me grow as a person, so I don't mind listening to what you have to say, and I will never disrespect you or your views, unless you try and force me to have them as well. I will only gladly discuss them with you and share my own.
A bit of my personal history:
My name is Zahara, I was born on May 8, 1992 in California where I have resided my entire life, up until my move to Germany from August, 2009 through June, 2010. As of now I am back in California, and I do now speak German, but am not yet fluent. I've had many experiences growing up as we all do, mine just happened to lead me down a seemingly different path. Whether you believe in the paranormal or not, it has been a part of my life since I was quite young. It fascinates me, and has helped developed my beliefs severely. Although I was baptized Greek Orthodox at the age of 7, I felt within myself that I belonged, so-to-speak, to the other side and that feeling has not ever changed. I am what people call an observer, I always sit back and watch others, and rarely speak up unless necessary. This caused problems in my early years, but through my observations I've learned much about human nature, how the mind works, and have decided to pursue a career in psychology because of the understanding I have for it. Philosophy is also fascinating, and I spend a lot of time learning about others philosophies in order to help build on my own theories, which I would like to someday share with others. I've always been good at whatever I decided to do, whether it be sports, instruments, or school. Growing up I played baseball, basketball, soccer, tennis, martial arts, rock climbed, and did many other physical activities. As for instruments, I used to play trumpet and violin, and am trying now to learn drums (although my rhythm sucks, to say the least). I went from being top of my class to failing, and in the last couple years have managed to build my academics back up and would like to attend UC Davis or Stanford starting Fall 2011. I also used to do acting and modeling, and could have gone to Hollywood, but made the decision not to so that I could focus on school. As of now I spend most of my free time either on the computer, singing, playing games, walking, reading, taking pictures, writing, or whatever else is available to do that seems fun (yes, for me fun includes walking, as well as just sitting and thinking. What can I say, I'm easily entertained). As for writing, I write poems/lyrics and am currently working on two books, although I've had to take a break on both for now. Just a little bit about simple things in life that please me:
Everything I have ever come across has been known in my mind as either love or hate so if there's something I like, I absolutely LOVE it. If I don't like it, that means I HATE it. ask me what I like or don't like then apply the extreme. What do I love above all? Germany, the German language, anything associated with Germany, etc. Germany is my passion.. I also love sports, specifically tennis and soccer, but I'll only root for Germany when it comes to watching competitively . I love Gothic architecture, Victorian fashion, corsets, tutus, Gothic crosses, cathedrals, old romance style writing(no, not cheesy romance shit, it's more of the style like how Anne Rice wrote The Vampire Lestat, which was a very amazing book if you haven't read it....), dark make up, fairies, phantasy, snow white, Greek food, being Greek, Starbucks, milkshakes, hot chocolate, soccer, good movies, good books, relaxing, taking care of myself, cats, snakes, llamas, squirrels, snails, slugs, horses, forests, photography, writing, existing, observing, explaining, and learning, intellectual conversations, having an opinion, not wearing socks when i sleep, sleeping naked, hot baths, real estate, psychology, chemistry, death, destruction, "elephantiasis", diabetes, pretty things, cute things, things that make me squeal like a little school girl, brownies, cookies, cake, sugary things, traveling, cuddling, feeling tall, my clothes, my piercings, chocolate pudding, helping random people, dreaming, planning my future, and many more things.
As for the other end of the spectrum, there are many things I hate, but I don't find it worth my or your time to bother putting those things on here, since they could easily be found out by talking to me.
My taste in music is extremely varied. My favorite genre of music would have to be black metal, but i also listen to industrial, death metal, heavy metal, regular metal, nu metal, old school punk rock, old school and bay area rap, alternative rock, screamo, grind core, goth rock, grunge, techno, pop, or anything else really, as long as I think it sounds good.
