I am Danica Minerva nadja of Lady Adiana. I've known her for many years on VR when I have been off and on. I am an old vamp soul wise.

As A vampyre I prefer energy, when storms come I feed on them, however, I have not learned to control myself as if I take too much in, I get sick. I have chosen my path as a Kithra.

In 1995 I met my 1st Sire. Granted yes he was a were, however, he knew what I was and protected me, and began teaching me the old ways and magick. We bonded through energy, not by blood. Three years ago he passed.

After his passing did I fully understood what I was...Yes I burned, yes I would feel drained after being sunburned, but I healed quickly and within days I had a tan. I had neck surgery in March 2015, within 6 weeks after my surgery my neck was fully functional (mind you I was age 40 at that time) I discovered I healed quickly.

All this time I often wondered why I craved certain foods, med-rare steak, orange juice, sweet red wines, then it dawned on me I am a vampire.

It was a month after my 1st Sire passed that Lady Adiana Akasha took me under her wing to finish what my first Sire began. It is her whom I have to thank for helping me to develop into who I am today.

My awakenings

My awakening began in my teens, but I shut it out due to my religious beliefs. But I always loved to bite necks and leave some rather nice hickies on the guys I dated.... As a child, I was able to predict the weather and talked to nature all the time.

My second awakening occurred in the military, on the ship I was stationed on, I noticed I was changing, this is where my psi abilities came into play as I was always feeding, sometimes I think too much as I would get sick. But then again being on an aircraft carrier, there are plenty to feed on. I guess I had no control over it. Then I left due to pregnancy (that took a lot out of me, both my pregnancies did).

Then I left Jacksonville to go to Norfolk as my new ship was stationed there. I was so used to being around ppl like me that I felt displaced, I had a nervous breakdown (3rd awakening) which eventually led to me being discharged from the military. (no I did not attempt suicide, I was removed due to not making rank).

4th Awakening: I have found my primal side. She is an old soul and doesn't take bullshit from anyone. My main profile (KatriannexVeldonxDrakul) depicts her. The Hellhound is her guardian and protects her/me spiritually.

My life

In the mundane world, my job is drawing blood and a licensed massage therapist. Religion-wise, I am fascinated with shamanism and druidism, however, I am what you call a spiritualist. I don't follow anyone's particular path but I have learned a little here and there to understand the basics and do my best to be open-minded.
