There's a system bug I am chasing, and it has been difficult to trap. Apparently some members status has been reset. If this happens to you, I need you to message me immediately with the time and date it happened, along with the VR URL you were viewing at the time (if you know).
To my knowledge it has only happened twice. And I think I might know what the problem is, but I need more information.
The good news is that the VR database is backed up every night, and I store incremental backups. This means I can restore your status to a particular date if there is a problem. If you delete and then re-sign up your VR username, don't expect a status resumption.
This does NOT apply to members who have slipped back ONE level. This is normal, and is built into the new status system. See #5 in the FAQ if you need an explanation. I'm getting sick of all the messages asking Why has my status dropped? |
