alone
standing in the middle of a brightly lit room
with people all around me I start to scream
just to see if anyone will listen but it's so surreal
no one hears me so it must be a dream
but it's as if I'm totally and completely alone
and in the dark even though I'm surrounded by
people that can hear and talk and yell and still
not a one of them can seem to listen to my
screams of agony of longing of want for the love
we used to share in these brightly lit rooms when
everyone knew that we were madly in love and
there wasn't a single doubt about anything then
but now it's different and no one can see just
how badly it hurts to be me and it's like I'm stuck
in this room and these people just don't give a
fuck.
