I'm with you on this one. People shouldn't try to gain power to be COOL. That generally means the learning is half-hearted and there's a good chance they'll fuck it up with they try to prove thier coolness to others. I like to learn new things and practice new abilities. But I do them for me. My interest. If I like drawing pictures on Lite-Brite, I don't care if it's cool or not.
