Imagine you are walking down a pokey, narrow street, and you, by chance meet eyes with a girl child.
Her figure seems to know where it is going. She smiles.
A lacy white dress adorns her body. It is based on both Victorian fashion and that of china dolls. She herself is not unlike a doll. Red lips and darkened lashes sit comfortably on her pale face. On one shoulder the strap of a dusty saddle bag sits. In this bag she carries the essentials; two books both by famous deceased authors, a pen, a small worn notepad with rough jottings of poetry in it, lipstick, eye liner and mascara. The pure essentials amongst the norm was another essential.
A knife.
Can you imagine her small china white fingers curling about the handle and pointing the curl blade?
