Today I was slapped directly across the face,
by the word...
CANCER
Seems my fathers results came back with the news we were all hoping would NOT be the case.
The mass that which was seen, infact turns out to be Carcinoma.
You know...I have cared for many people in my life
that have and are battling cancer...but fuck,
when it's in your immediate bubble, it's a pain...
I wish I never knew.

I'm so sorry sweetie. As a child I lost a close family member to it. The only advice I can really offer you is to make sure you speak with any little ones close to him and try to keep them understanding as best you can what is going on. I wasn't given that and I still struggle with some of the choices I made during that time. I will be thinking of you and your family.
