In relation to my last entry in my Society section, looking over all those Crests and banners and such, it's easy to see how much I've progressed in regards to my skills. My first few Crests, those I created for my own Covens, well, they quite honestly suck. Nocte Dementia, Hwiniol Naur, La Vie est une Masquerade, and the two for Coven of the Dragon have got to be the worst Crests I've ever seen. I'm sorry to say I'm the one who created them. Now, the more recent one's I've done, CF, Euphoria, Oublie, Sacred Coven of Thebes, Ancient Wisdom, Lux, Les Enfants and Smoke and Mirrors are loads better. You can tell I took more time out to create each one. I put a lot into each of them, and I'm proud that they were used (Save for Les Enfants) for any amount of time here.
I think my most beloved of all of them though, was one that was actually never used for the Coven it was created for, Les Enfants. I was honored to be asked by MrD to create something for them, and I think that one took the most time to put together. Finding all the right elements for it nearly drove me mad. But, the end result is something I just love.
Honestly, it was good to put up all my work like that, to see how far I've come with my art. And, it's fun to see all the different styles I used for each Coven, the way I tried to fit each Crest to each individual Coven. Granted, my stuff isn't fantastic, there's tons of room for improvement, but, I'm happy with what I've done. And, I'm honored that so many people came to me for their graphics. It really puts a smile on my face.
