I can't even stand to look at the journals page anymore. Ugh. Fucking children, the whole lot of you.
I want to induct people who are "promised" to other Societies just for the hell of it. I find it funny when they get all mad about being picked up by another Society. But, I just can't justify spending the time necessary to do so. This place has become so dull. Oh well, I shall find some entertanment offline and away from this place. Pissing off faceless, nameless people on the internet isn't enough of a draw to keep me here.

It really has...hasn't it? And that's how CF made most of its favor. I went after people promised to other covens, and then sold them to those covens.
Back when I was ACM of...we won't get into it...I made stamps for all of our profiles that said "I promise you I don't give a fuck about your promised stamp" I snagged a lot of people and made a point of it...I got over it. I don't have the time to sit around waiting to click a button and "prove a point". Anyway...I know the satisfaction. I rarely see promised stamps anymore but when I do it reminds me of the good old days and feel like creeping...but ya, I'm busy, have fun being "promised" haha.
At least you dont have to promise them your first born.
I'm pretty sure I mentioned how totally in love I am with this woman and her music. She's got such a lovely voice, and her songs are interesting and catchy.
Anyway, here's my new favorite song. Enjoy. The Wolf by Phildel.
I don't know how much play this has been getting on stations outside of California, but here in SoCal we've had a huge manhunt going on since last Thursday. There is an ex Los Angeles police officer who's gone off the deep end and killed three people, and now wounded four. He claims there's corruption in the LA Police force, and sure, that may be so, but it's no excise to go and kill innocent people. He killed three innocent people. The daughter of a retired LA police captain and her fiance, as well as a Riverside police officer who stopped him on a routine traffic stop. Innocent people. And what makes it truly sick is that peple praise his actions. You look up Christopher Dorner on Facebook and you'll find tons of pages dedicated to him. It's disgustig that so many people stand behind a killer. Apparently he also tied up a couple when he took over their home (LA can't confirm this as it's part of the San Bernardino County investigation) Yeah, this guy deserves admiration.
They apparently found him up in Big Bear. There was a stand off earlier today. I hope they killed him. Right now no one knows what the hell is going on. But, I really hope he is dead. He doesn't deserve to sit on death row for years and years. He just needs to die.

LAPD Shoot first ask questions later. Maybe he was right.
For someone who's lived in SoCal all their life, in LA county, I can tell you that's really not true. It's ignorance like that that I find disgusting.
Have you been paying attention to the news? They have open fire on innocent people in this man hunt. Without cause to open fire.
That car looks likes the suspect car, lets start shooting! Why do they want him dead so badly and not brought to justice?
It's worldwide news. A constant on CNN and every other station. I'm following on my iPad because we're watching shows.
I am pretty sure it's standard practice to shoot at someone who fires at you. He's now killed two police officers, one who was injured in the shoot out esrlier today has been reported to have passed away from his injuries. So, I think the officers shooting at him have every right to do so. He's armed and dangerous and clearly doesn't care who he takes out.
Saw this on the news tonight at dinner.
Anyone who has, or will comment on this post. I will say this once.
My father's a cop. I'm working toward a career with the FBI.
When you put that badge on, you have a solemn duty to uphold the law and protect the innocent from harm.
He has violated the charge given to him by his former superiors, and by the people outside of the department who trusted him to do his job right.
Now, necessary evils are often a part of life, hence why we call them necessary. ...what this...creature is doing is not a necessary evil. It's just plain old fashioned evil. Now if he is clearly insane, and not responsible for his actions, then by all means, get the man some help. But if he has even a shred of conscience left...then death should be his only "reward" for his actions.
Agree with me or not, I don't really care. But anyone who supports his actions, needs to take a good look at themselves in the mirror.
Enough said.
VR needs to go down more often. Heh. I had a few laughs with Yendor, Images, and Slain on Facebook about it.
In other news, I got to see Warm Bodies tonight. And, it was awesome. I didn't reallly realize it was Romeo and Juliet with zombies until the end. But, really, I should have seen it from the get go. Anyway, I also started reading the book. I found a little excerpt of the first eleven pages online and it was just as witty and fun. So, I think I shall have to go hit Barnes and Noble soon to pick up a copy of my very own.
I think I'm going to take advantage of the two entries per person thing for the Profile Help Page graphics contest and enter another image. I just have to think of what I want to do. My first image was kind of lacking on that pizzazz.
And, I still think Moonie will likely win. Her stuff is just awesome.
I don't understand this... If you're in a relationship where you're as miserable as you sound, complaining to outside parties, why continue to be in said relationship? If you're not happy, isn't it time to cut the ties that bind? Why make yourself miserable? I'm a hopeless romantic, but I'm not that stupid where I'd just drag on a relationship that I wasn't happy in. What's the point?
Maybe someone can enlighten me.

I've never understood this concept either. From what I have gathered they are afraid to start over. Changes for some is a terrible thing despite the misery. Wow I say...
I have a work friend who's been in this kind of relationship for years. They're basically just room mates who hate each other and share a car insurance policy, but when I ask why he stays he changes the subject. I don't get it either.
fear of lonliness n be judged about it.
And tonight's adventure, since it never fails that something bad happens when I'm around an automobile, we got stuck at Target for about an hour. Yay! After dinner and such we went to Ulta and Target to pick up some stuff. Well, as we were getting ready to leave, I go to open the trunk on my sister-in-law's car, and snap, the damn key broke in half. Just my freaking luck. So, we debated if we were going to tough it out and walk down to the Home Depot to see if we could get a new key, but at this point is was already 8:30 and about forty-something degrees out and wet from the rain and hail. So, we said fuck that and went into Target to call someone. Well, first we try a few locksmith places, but apparently everyone closes early on Fridays, and people who get locked out are shit out of luck. So, we sat there for ten minutes, my mom tried calling my dad to see if he could pick us up. No go there. Finally I suggest just having the car towed by AAA. It tells you how bright my mother and I are that we didn't think of that first. Well, we call them and we wait about twenty minutes until the guy shows up. He couldn't tow the car without the key. The key is broken in half. The car is stuck there until tomorrow. But, the man was nice enough to offer to take us home. Our other option was walking. So yeah. Fun times. Thankfully Kevin and Liz have another key. It's just in Vegas right now with them. So, we're gonna go pick it up tomorrow after they get home. I hate cars, and it's painfully obvious that they hate me just as much.
Every time I see that avatar I shudder in disgust. Ick.
In other news, it's been raining/hailing since about midnight last night. It's refreshing. We had some pretty high temperatures for about two weeks, so it's nice to go back to winter weather. We don't get enough of it, really. The only thing that sucks is that I am going to have to go drive in that. And most SoCal drivers seriously don't know how to drive in the rain.

So, this is that image I was working on yesterday. Looking at it now it isn't so bad. I think I was just annoyed with things last night since it took forever to cut that model out.
Holy crap... Worked on an image all freaking night, and I absolutely HATE the end result. That has never happened before. If it had just been for me I would have scrapped the project around midnight. But it wasn't, so I had to see it to the end. I hate the end result, but, dammit, I saw it to the fucking end.

I want to see!
Also, I do that with my drawings now. Instead of crumpling them up and starting over I just make tiny changes here and there to make it less...horrible, then I just finish it, and for some reason that just feels alot better than throwing it away just because it's ugly.
One time GalFriday told me 'you have no right to expect anything from your art once you set brush to canvas,' only it was alot more eloquent than that, and in a way that makes sense. You should just work for the sake of creating/enjoyment and whatever happens, happens.
So, talking with Slain on Skype about movies and such, and he puts out this absolute gem.
[10:56:45 PM] Slain: Hey. at least I've seen Le Pacte de Louvres.
[10:56:52 PM] Slain: I killed that i think.
[10:56:57 PM] Nicole: Louvres?
[10:57:03 PM] Nicole: A pack of museums?
[10:57:08 PM] Slain: ...........
[10:57:11 PM] Nicole: Lol.
[10:57:14 PM] Nicole: Loupes.
[10:57:18 PM] Slain: yeah. WOW
[10:57:20 PM] Slain: >.>
[10:57:26 PM] Nicole: I
[10:57:27 PM] Nicole: Am
[10:57:29 PM] Nicole: Dying
[10:57:32 PM] Nicole: LOL
[10:57:40 PM] Slain: i didn't kill it. I fucking MURDERED IT IN COLD BLOOD.
Had to mute the tv while Beyoncé is on. I really can't stand her or her music.

She barely even sang. I don't care for her music or her attitude (I see her as overly-feminist in a creepy way) but think she has a great voice...too bad the show was pretty much just ass shaking.
Here's the updated version of Hell's Crest. I wanted to keep some of it the same, to tie in with the old one.

Raises hand for lessons~I have cs5 version but I'm like huh...way too advanced for my skills...you do such amazing work...
I am completely self taught when it comes to Photoshop. It was a lot of tiral and error and reading tons and tons of tutorials online. But mostly trial and error. So much trial and error. There are still bits I completely suck at or don't quite understand when it comes to the program, and I have been using CS3 for a number of years. You just have to keep at it and be patient. Photoshop is not a program you're going to understand in just a day.
very nice
I like it, kind a gives the impression of a big demonic mouth you can't run away from or some incenirator you are chained and tied up and sent to on a rolling carpet muhaaaaaaaaaa
Wicked Immy
:) You are so talented.
Brilliant work. :)
You should start charging people...except me, lmao. Seriously though, it's great, your work is like...professional quality. It's amazing.
I'm feeling inspired. It's off to go tinker and re-work Hell's Crest. I think it's time I updated that baby. Looking at it now makes me shudder a bit, it was so sloppily put together. But now that I have a better grasp on Photoshop, I am sure I can put out something less... that. This is going to be fun.
So, they're hosting a contest for a new graphic to go with the Profile Help Page. This is what I came up with. Though, I have to admit, Moonie's work blows mine out of the water.
