Going to go to the Huntington Library in San Marino some time next month. I'm really looking forward to that trip. I haven't been there since I was in high school, back when it was still free. It's going to cast thirty bucks for me and my mom to get in, which is lame, but I think it's worth it. The Japanese garden is simply stunning, and I want to get some pictures there.
It's funny, I've never really been into photography, well seriously, before I went to the Getty Villa this last time. But, capturing the images I did really sparked something in me. I carry my camera with me at all times now, always ready to catch something I fine beautiful. And now, now I actively seek out places that are inspiring. Maybe this will be my new way to express myself since my writing hasn't amounted up to anything, and my photo manipulation has been nothing but crap.
More pictures from my trek to the Getty Villa yesterday.

Awesome :)
You are so lucky to see this type of historic artefacts so close to home. The Paul Getty Trust is a great cause.
Went to the Getty Villa today, and I took a shit load of pictures. These are just a few of my favorites. Enjoy. :]

I love your new default image. It looks really classical. Once, ever image on my profile was of several different stone angels I had taken pictures of that day. I love statues.
I just realized today is my four year anniversary here..
Yeah.... Four years. Four years of my life devoted to a silly website. I don't know whether to be happy I stuck it out this long, or appalled that this place has been such a major part of my life for so long.
Four years...

I know the feeling all too well.
The thing is if you enjoyed it, it is nothing to be appalled about :) look on the bright side.. Emmy 92.05 days in 5 years giggles!
O.o this confuses me.
So, we have an earthquake, you know what's on the news? Pictures of pools and chandeliers. Always pictures of pools and light fixtures. It's so lame.
This is just so funny, really. They talk to people and it's like "we felt shaking." Really? Shaking? Are you serious? Ugh.. They make such a big deal over nothing. Expect earth quakes. Expect fires. Expect mudslides. This is what you get when you live in California. Be thankful that we don't get tornados, or really bad flash floods, or, any other seriously god awful disasters that befall other parts of the country. Some flickering lights, the ground shaking, I'd take it over everything else.
Stupid people. Stupid, stupid people.
