Seems I had a lot of pictures on my camera from the last few weeks. With all the rain, price of gas, I have not been going to many places for photos. But here are a few.
Trailer that we just got done redoing. This is one of two rentals my parents had left, the other a house. And the one we found the people living in without permission. It got new paint job *wish I had went ahead and painted the little paneling that was left in the place* New flooring, and that is not hardwood but a thick vinyl. Also trying out some higher commercial grade carpet that we never used before. After being mistreated for 6 years by the same woman and her daughter (and a few men, brother, and boyfriends who found there way living there) it got a good overhaul. Was able to save the kitchen, bathroom, few doors, windows, and few light fixtures. So it could of been way more to replace. Still took about a month by the time the work (rotted wood) floor was replaced.
Rented it for $300.00, with the same as a damage deposit. It sits next to the nice house we added the bathroom to- rented the house to a preacher? His girlfriend (I say just a friend but he calls her girlfriend) rented it as when she moved down she just rented a "room" from someone in the church. By the time we was done with the remodel she had a good job, and wanted it. Single, clean, nice paying job, know she would get along with the neighbor, no kids, no pets. Hey- that carpet is a light beige color. No pets was a big thing. Has a nice porch on the front *you can see a little of the privacy wall in the window* that she tells me they will be eating dinner at all summer. Mind you he has a big porch on his home, but as he said "She cooks. I will come over." lol
Bedroom on each end, one bath right at the utility area which is right behind the kitchen area.
Then a few shots from jobs of late- all the rain.
Hope this weekend to hit a few local places in the area that has been catching my eye. :)
My peonies are blooming. While it is raining outside, I still cut a few to take into my home. And to do a makeup look. ;)
Couple of weeks ago my soft box studio light had a fuss- not my fault. I still don't have it fixed, still can't figure out how to solve the problem really.
So the lighting sucked *I did say it was raining* and the green eyeshadow in the crease looks blue. :(
But I kind of like the flowers around the face. On my last tube of eyelash glue too. :(
But I do have some wonderful flowers to look at. So all is good. :D

I really, really like that.
(It looks green to me. :P)
SOOO NOT FAIR!! I love Peonies they are so beautiful and you look like a lovely blooming flower.
O.o I miss having peonies...we used to have a big ol bush on one side of our house and they would bloom every year, we would cut a bunch to make our living room smell sweet. Love the makeup too!
That looks simply amazing! You have such fantastic ideas for makeup.
P.S. It looks green to me! :]
WOW! That's amazing! So beautiful...
You have the coolest ideas, ya know that? :)
Makeup Look- The Darker Half.
This is the photo that made me want to try a few of the hints Ducky and Abby sent me last night.
If you look- you can tell most of the photo effects is done in photoshop. Well... at least I think it is. But here is the look I came up with, not edit.
Then I spent a few hours playing in Photo Shop. I don't know how people make this look so easy, I had to undo more then I did. lol
Then over the top edit. Kind of like it but I went to dark on the cheek.
Then I just could not leave this one alone. lol
:) Had fun doing it, learned a few tricks.

I think this is beautiful , I love this look
Oh, Ratty of all the ones you have done this is by far my favorite !
Makeup look- Going 20 rounds with a Juggalo clown. :D
Not the look I was going for but then I changed my mind midway. I wanted to practice with glue to cover my eye brows, which turned out a lot better then the one and only time I used it before. Still need to work on keeping the skin from wrinkling with the glue.
Then I used some special effect/ theater makeup effect items I have had for a while now. On the left cheek is rigid collodion. Loved it! The way it pulls your skin into a scar, tighten it. Pain in the ass to remove, sure I lost some hair removing it, but will have to try this again close to my eyes. Have to think on a look to use this again. On the top of the right cheek was liquid latex. Losing the hair pulling it off, and not really understanding how this works as far as a scar look… *shrugs*
The rest is modeling putty wax. Liked the look, blending sucked, and with the makeup the poor lip section kept cracking on me. I used a pancake type foundation and used care but I still must of pulled it lose. Need to study up on how you shadow, highlight scars and facial effects. Did like the stage blood, how thick it is. Wanting to do another fang/ vampire makeup now that I found the this finally in my makeup chest.
After all that I just threw any color on the eyes, ended up with a clown look. But I am a step closer to understanding how to do scars, effect makeup. And kind of fun to put scars on your face, sort of therapeutic. I might just have to use these products again for a self-portrait kind of thing.
Unedit since these are just to learn by. ;)

I used to do this for my Drama classes in high school. If you want, I can give you some tips on how to shadow and make the scars, bruising, and cuts look more pronounced. We did a play on war called "Mail Call" and we had to make Soldiers who were killed in war "reappear" as a ghostly image and talk about what it was like.
Just message me if you want the tips. :)
Thought, I must say, for just starting to use it, you did really well with it.
*though not thought
heh...
Same as Ducky, I have plenty of experience with this stuff and I can give you a few tips. Feel free to message me and I can help out :D
It works to me...damn right juggalo scary!
Looks very real; in the right lighting I wouldn't be able to tell. You're amazing.
Gold Eye. :) A look off a makeup artist site, one that I wanted to try even tho I knew my heavy eyelid would not help the look at all.

WOW!! I want.
Wanted to do a Makeup look tonight. Birdy came for a visit this afternoon and she had these long sea blue earrings on with silver sparkly clasp. Took that beauty and played. :)

And some fun edits...
Problems with this look- the fake lashes where new, and they would not curve to my lid, laid in a straight line.
