Notice a defendant trend on our local bank of late. They don’t need money. Use to they do a lot to get folks to come into their bank, make a deposit, put your money there. Now it is like they are flushed and just don’t want you to.

CD rates show they really don’t need money. 1/10 of a percentage is a joke. Really…. For the four or five dollars it would make it would be nicer stuffed into my lump mattress. I remember when it was in the upper 20% as a child, and how money ‘made’ you money.

Now- they just don’t seem to want your money at all. I know I know- they can’t loan it. After the housing market busted due to a large part of banks cheating and giving out loans to folks they knew would never be able to pay them back- they are gun shy. Of course folks are gun shy about getting a 200,000 plus loans to buy those homes now too.

But when they start charging $5.00 a month if you don’t have any active deposits on savings accounts. Or $5.00 per month on checking accounts that don’t have over $500.00 kept in them… well that is a sure sign banks are not caring if you bank with them or not.

Use to the bank never charged anything, checking or savings. Deposit books- free. You had to buy your own checks of course but still… sure that will change soon too.

With me working, savings, cutting out any and all things I could to bring the moving company back on the ‘finical sound footing’ I wanted it on- I have a little cash flow. Was thinking a CD would not be bad, keep it out of my hands. But it is a joke what they are willing to pay for it. So I pull up the savings account to get the account number and found they had charged me $15.00 for ‘inactive’ these last three months.

Yeah banks really ain’t caring if you stay with them or not these days. They don’t need the flush of money as they just aren’t doing the business they use to. And I don't need a savings account that makes .01 cent on what they charge me $5.00 for.

Time to go up to the bank and close out a few accounts I think. Glad I am on all of them, can do this for everyone in one sweep. Maybe when they start needing money they will cut out all these charges, and we can open new ones.

I don't think it is entirely the bank's fault. It is my understanding that some of those charges are mandated by the ......government. transactional fees...and I HATE paying them. GRRRRRRR

And don't see how anyone can type with these freaking things. I have had to correct myself 4 times with just this little entry.

Grrrrr...

Let's hope so as I really want a trip out of town to the old closed down hospital if the owner is still willing to let me in.

Watched some movies last night. One was Les Miserables. Long ass movie. Hugh, while I love as an actor, can't sing. But still...

I think Adam Lambert said something along the lines of actors are not singers. But the actors did bring in the emotions, and I think that is what sold the movie. I mean... making music videos doen't make you a actor. Trust me. Shaking your ass, thrusting your hips ain't acting.

Good movie, just really could lived without Hugh singing as much as he did and as the movie is built around his role.....

Then I watched a little unknown movie called The Impossible. You really should watch it. It is about the taunami that hit in 2004. Takes you into the story of a couple with three boys. GREAT movie! So worth watching, seeing what happen after it hit. It is the kind of movie I think everyone should watch. History, seeing the death, the chaos left behind. Just a wonderful movie.

Cat *Nightgame* Aunt is very ill. I went over tonight to help with anything they need, help with Boo. Only to find they was at the hospital visiting. She is in her 90's. Since her brother is there, when they got home I left.

While I am family, and if their brother hadn't been there I would of stayed with them. But when you are waiting for that kind of call- don't see it being my place.

Send any positive energy to her and her family.

Session 9 is the type of movie I dislike. Yes it is set in a old closed down hospital. So here I am thinking "Ohhhh... ghost movie." When it turns out to be a plain old normal 'killer' movie that turns out to be one of the guys in the team.

Sucks.

No ghost.

No creepy.

You could of filmed this damn thing anyplace.

What a waste of a great location.

Found a cute thingy about The Walking Dead. You make a list of 8 folks for the Zombie Apocalypse Team. Now I wanted to make my own using humans, no Iron Man or Wonder Woman kind of folks. No DNA boosted hero but just humans. Yes- I know they are TV/ Movie folks but how unfair would it be to have a Hulk on the team? And my 'real life' folks would be hunters, country boys who can fight, hunt, cross bows users, pickups that are taller then me.

So I came up with this team-

Team Leader- Die Hard John McClane. I mean- can't you see him facing a army of zombies with the a flame thrower with the "Yippie-kay-yay motherfucker." line?

Brains- Sherlock Holmes *Robert Downey one*

Medic- Watson- *see above*

Brawler- Staying with the one on the list- Dean off Supernatural. Or maybe Jane off Firefly? I could see singing his 'theme' song around a camp fire at night. lol

Weapons- Lara Croft from Tomb Raider

Speed Fighter- Jackie Chan. And he knows how to take a fall.

Guy who dies first- George off the old TV show Seinfeld. Always hated him, and I think I could out run if not out fight him. ;)

Care Giver- The newest James Bond, he can care for am all he wants. ;) Ok ok- with this gang I guess that would be me.

Hope others share their list.

Okay, here goes my list:

TEAM LEADER: Can't argue with that- John McClane it is

BRAINS: Sheldon from Big Bang Theory

MEDIC: House from well, House

BRAWLER: Dyson from Lost Girl

WEAPONS: Marvin Boggs (John Malkovich in Red)

SPEED FIGHTER: Bo from Lost Girl

CAREGIVER: Castle (damn, he's hot, and he goes with your Jane from Firefly)

Can't decide who I would want to die first- I was good with the wife beater on Walking Dead going out in a gore fest. But that's just me.

TEAM LEADER: Yeah no argument on John McClane……Yippee Ki Ay…..

BRAINS: McGyver – he can build weapons from air

MEDIC: Lauren from Lost Girl – she is devious and has some weird knowledge

BRAWLER: Josh from Being Human. He does what needs doing and seems to survive.

WEAPONS: I think I agree on Jane from Firefly…..he seemed to have them stashed everywhere.

SPEED FIGHTER: Going with Buffy the Vampire Slayer

CAREGIVER: Willow from buffy….caregiver with power!

Can't decide who I would want to die first- as I have never seen Walking Dead…..don’t know much but I thought the idea of putting together a team was rather neat.

Last night... I drive in the rain, on a country road I hadn't been on, rushing to meet the 2:00 am delivery time. Which I did- 15 mins early. But as I was patting myself on the back I knew an issue was going to rear it's ugly little head.

The paperwork read 'residence' as in home. The address on the paperwork was to a old worn down drive-in out in farm country. So I drove about the drive in, almost backing into a stupid tree in the rain, trying to find a 'home'. The only building was a dump, worn out, broken glass block building that had junk all around it. I started to wonder if this place was even open.

So I sit, waited, think someone would show up at 2:00am. At 2:00am I log in that I was at delivery. I waited the 15 mins they give us (customer and myself) for being late, then called in. Dispatched said they would find somenone, will get back to me.

So I sat, in the rain, in the dark with the wind blowing all kind of trash toward my car to hit it, for half a hour. Call back - new address. Great, but I didn't mapquest that freaking one...grrr.

So TomTom came out, punched in the new location, and off I went for another 11 miles. Anyone who knows GPS knows they suck at small towns, or at least mine does. Took me two U turns (turn right, then turn right, then turn right- fucker- doen't that put me right where I am?!!" ANYWAY... I found his home and it was about as much of a dump as the movie place.

I climb the steps to the porch, dogs going off inside the home like crazy, and I drop the 65 lbs case on the porch, knocked. No lights, but I be damn if those dogs wouldn't wake the dead. I waited, in the rain, thinking I should protect the film... not!... and the dogs calmed down. Oh I think NOT! What the hell? He knows the movie is coming....did he think I was just going to leave it out in the rain??

*Knock knock knock bang!*

I see a light come on, then foot steps coming toward the doorway. A man comes out in his boxer, bringing the stink of dogs with. "Sorry- you are so late I went to sleep." Ok... listen dumb ass. I wasn't late. I drove faster then I should in the rain on unknown roads, trying to meet your requested time. And I did... I just held out the papers for him to sign, no need to point out anything to this guy, and he made sure he wrote down the time- 3:11am, "a hour and ten minutes late" is how he wrote it.

"You know- the next time you want the movie at your home, you might want to make damn sure the address is right, Sir." I said, pointing it out to him. "That is the ..." "I know- the drive in. I was THERE ten minutes early. But that is Ok, dispatch knows what happen as we spent 45 minutes trying to correct the mistake. Have a great morning. Bye puppies..." and made a barking sound to set them off again.

:)

Yes- lack of sleep makes me bitchy. But I was home by 5:00 this morning. :) Got a little over two hours in before the alarm went off. So glad it is Friday- two days of sleeping without that damn thing waking me up.

Seeing the new out of Texas makes me think of Waco cult compound. That happen on the 19th of April back in 92? 93?...

Which of course lead to the Oklahoma City bombing on the same date a few years later.

April doen't seem to be a good month at all.

Hope last night was just an accident, if that doesn't sound too creepy.

I mean- Boston was clearly an attack on the USA and I think they will find out it was done by an American. The location, the date- just too easy of a target for someone who had something against the goverment.

Seeing the TX fire last night on TV just before bed made me think of the other two events that happen from the Waco killing.

Took a sleeping pill last night, early. Then got woken up by the storms. I mean heavy rain and booms, thunder, lightening. 1:00 am found me awake, resetting my clock, which I did three times during the night as the power kept flicking off and on.

Then the noise on the back porch, the bang on my door around 4:30am. Yelling, foot steps. Safe to say I couldn't sleep after that. Went out this morning and the back porch patio seats are moved about, so I know someone had been there. Why anyone would be out in that storm... not like I was going to open my door.

Went back to bed after sunrise as sis knew I wasn't coming down to work if the storm was still going. Woke up about noon. Meaning tonight I will have issues getting to sleep again.

Sleeping pill- not the best ideal I have had during some of the strongest storms we have had in years. Still having booms, thunder 12 hours later.

Last night I came online with Cat's kindle she is letting me use, since I couldn't sleep. And I swear I got a blast from somenone. Now- I take it the same reason the webcams don't work on the kindle is the same reason the blast screws up.

Or it might be me backing out of a page, see the little box, and backing right out of it as it gets lost. Only flaw I see with the Blasting.

And thick fingers on a kindle pad.... I hit back, and it goes back like three pages. o.O

So sorry if you sent me one last night, I didn't see it.

On my mind a lot today. Taxes due, thinking about them all weekend. The cutting everything out to try and get the company back in 'solid' ground per the books. So saving, building up the accounts means taxes.

Did you know you are on my IRA? I left it all to you if something happen to me. Same goes for a lot of the savings I have. I came so close to crying when I found that out. I need to change it but... taking you name off is like cutting you out of my life, in a strange way.

While I have changed my will to leave it all to my two sisters, so sad when I run into your name. Would it help to take you off the accounts, to move on? I don't know. I just always knew you would see anything I left behind be given out the way it should. You were the most honest person I ever knew, fair to the core. I never saw you as the type to go out and buy a 50,000.00 pickup just 'because you wanted it.' :) Tight to the core, but smart.. so smart when it came to spending.

Even had a phone call from a older man today who wanted only one item moved. While I was 'too high' he said "Tell your Dad you are tying to take all the money I have. He will get a joke out of it as we known each other since we was kids." I should of known then it was going to be a sad day for me.

Hard to not cry as I told him you had been gone for a while now. He was sad to hear it, not as sad as I was to tell it.

You know the photo of you and mom hang in my office. I look at it often, talk to you. Today I just cried, often, saying how much I miss you.

Love

Your little June.

This gallon milk jug is turning into my fairy garden house. :) Items found outside, hot glue, and some moss. Still trying to think of the roof for this but it is turning out the way I wanted the 'woods' look I want to try for.

Next weekend is a trip to Lowes, or a garden center for plants. Think I have it all built with the chairs, tables, going to make paths with small brown rocks used in vases.

The handle of the jug I cut the top part to, made it a rock covered fireplace chimney. Will make the roof a little tricky, but sure it will work out. Might build more, maybe a swing, but have to wait and see what the 'layout' is and how much room after the plants, moss. :)

5 hours after I got to work- the phone lines are up and working now.

--.--

Storm took a line down, which in turn messed up the alarm. So they would ring- then hiss, then hang up.

Been a loud, busy morning.

And the phone dude? He tried to get me to 'buy' a alarm, sign up to his friend's company. He tells me this as he blames the alarm for the phones acting up "as I have worked with alarms for years" ... but you work for the phone company.

So I called my repair man phone- *yes, I have his cell*... and they talked. He got off the phone and told me the alarm guy, who put this alarm in and always works on it, the guy we call family enough that we give the keys to the office/ warehouse so if we ain't here- who also was here yesterday and helped me understand why my fax is not working is the static on the phone line--- is wrong.

I know the alarm worked yesterday after he left. I know the phones worked till the storm hit.

So .. well... I wasn't nice.

Three hours later- all is working. Seems that one phone line went down, due to lightening, rain, whatever... but it is fixed now. For the time being.

Swear- like I would switch to a alarm company you rep when you can't even firgure out what is tripping the alarm/ phone lines? After a storm?? On old lines? Buried lines, then above ground? Even I knew what happen dumb ass.

*slam forehead to desk*

Where is all the smart people gone too? I want to go there...

Instead- back to work.

I am loving having MooniePie to talk to, now that she is Regent. Before I always had to watch my I's, cross my T's when we talked site stuff. Now- I don't have to. :D

The day after she got her new position I came online at work, getting my day started. I usually suspend all the latest spam profiles, usually 4 or 5, when I found them already suspended. O.o "Oh- you want to play it like that huh bunnie?" I joked to myself, smiling.

But I caught her the next day- got them before she could. Seems we have a race going on, seeing who can catch them first. Dang her and her later night times, my early bed time. But then I get them as she is sleeping still, her little bunnie tail hanging out from the blanket. :)

We will see how this game turns out oh Bunnie. lol

Today was a good day. Got the boys in to cut some trees, pick up trash, wash trucks, sweep the warehouse out. They made a little cash while we got some cleaning up done. It was so hot tho- in the 80's. Seems we are going from winter right into summer here.

Then tonight we *sister and I* burned the tree cuttings, papers, etc we had piled up after I got back tonight. A hour an a half of us sitting, talking, me taking photos. She got some time away from Mom and my brother, which she needs.

Storms are moving in the area tonight, as in warnings are out already. Hope a good storm comes, I can sleep so much better with the sound of metal on the metal roof. Throw in some thunder and it will be a good night. :)

Will try and work on some of the photos the next two nights and will share. :)

As an Englishman whom is old enough to remember the suffering she caused the working class of this country I have to respectfully disagree, I'm in no doubt that a completely different portrait of her was given to the rest of the world both during and after her reign of terror against the citizens of the United Kingdom.

There will be hundreds of thousands ex miners and public sector workers rejoicing in the streets tonight at the news of her death and rest assured they'll bury her somewhere well guarded because she's so hated here people will be lining up to piss on her grave.

She starved miners and their families for striking over their meagre wages and sold our public services to her husbands friends for huge kickbacks, her son is a mercenary who was found guilty of plotting a terrorist coup on African soil and bailed using money stolen from the tax payers and shares in diamond mines.

She's NOT referred to here as 'The Iron Lady' as they would have you believe in the movie but actually referred to as 'Maggie Thatcher the milk snatcher' after she forced the department of educations cuts of free school milk for nursery school children.

She increased taxes for the working class whilst giving vast tax breaks to wealthy investors in her husbands companies... she is without doubt the most heinous woman whom was more akin to dictator than prime minister.

The BBC (British Brainwashing Company) which is in fact a quango will no doubt be filling our screens here with propaganda about the awful woman for the next week... She really is a disgusting woman, certainly not one to look upto.

ok rant over lol

You can't say she didn't change England, good or bad. She was strong- standing up for England when invasions, wars came calling. She would not let her country be seen as weak.

As far as the money - she laid the groundwork for an extraordinary economic renaissance that changed England for life.

In a way I can see the USA, with the health care we have to pay for being forced on us, being effect by the same labor fights, cuts.

Did she screw the common- man labor? Yes. But then what leader hasn't?

She really was a great lady in every respect. I'm sure there will always be mixed opinions about her but for me and my opinion she not only gave this country back some credibility but gave me my first home.

Beelzebub
Beelzebub
18:33 Apr 08 2013

Oh she changed it most definitely, we had the highest unemployment rates in Europe, the highest taxes in the world our industry was sold in return for private shares for our ministers, our education system reduced to near non existence in an effort to dumb down a generation and our health service sold off piece by piece to private sector companies whom were discovered to be dangerously inept in their practices, the whole country rioted constantly in protest at her industry cuts, newly implemented taxes and victimisation of the labour workforce, she caused so much damage that we're still paying for it now.

I remember seeing miners wives, steel workers families etc actually having to stand outside supermarkets and rely on the kindness of others whom could barely afford to feed themselves to drop food into their shopping bags.. it was a truly terrible time for most but the truth is rarely reported sadly.

Throughout her rule in the UK we had poverty on a scale never witnessed since the Victorian era... it wasn't progressive... good riddance to bad rubbish I say.

Just got done watching the movie Red Dawn. Good remake, stayed true to the old movie. The start of the movie, news clips about North Korea made you think with all the events in real life.

Not that I worry about an invasion in our area. Way too many hunter/ country boys with guns. ;)

I remember the original with Patrick Swayze as a youngster ... good film that I thought they could have done so much more with.

I hope the remake did better.

The scene that springs to mind for me was the paratroopers landing in a school playground and thoses kids watchiong on....!

You know I am a Walking Dead fan when I was taking my thyroid pill this morning, still half asleep, and said to myself out load...

"Damn Rick- I would help you kill the zombies, we just have to keep me in my meds."

And that leads to a deep inner debate on how I would keep myself with meds I take for thyroid, blood pressure, etc.

lol

Ok- time to get my day started.

That is rich coming from a person who make a profile to hide behind as you gave out blocks, and ones. Why? Just to stir shit up. Then when you came "out of the closet" you got what you deserved. And still am even today. You make that bed dude- lay in it. Your actions show the type of person you are.

Redqueen has always posted in my journal, been in my home three times of visits as a guest who has become more like family. So if anyone needs to 'stay off' journals it is you. She is welcome but you just come in here to stir yet more shit up.

Don't want 5 more blocks added to your list then I would stop now.

Correct me if I am wrong, VW, but am I not allowed to read anybody's journal, and rate as I see fit? And what makes him think I was talking about him in the first place? Did I MENTION his name anywhere in that entry?

MooniePie

17:28 Apr 07 2013

If someone doesn't want their journal read, then you would either make the entries private or encrypt them so only the people you wish to see it would see it. Which is why the feature was brought to VR.

To tell someone not to read your journal, when it is public, is pointless.

Vampirewitch39
Vampirewitch39
19:31 Apr 07 2013

No Red, you did not. He assume it was and you know what that does to a person *in this case him* Made an ass out of himself.

And as you pointed out- you can go on any profile you want, rate, block, etc. Others have no problem pointing that out when they are making threats, blocking, rating, etc. Funny how they now think "It should be stopped."

What is good for the chicken is good for the goose.

And yes Bunnie- you are right. Public journal on a public site anyone who wants to read this can, and any other journal.

Today= meet at the police station. 6 cops, lawyer, money man, and three others was added to my 3 men. Off we went to the place, to repo all the items in the home, the parents home, barns, etc. on this 1,600 acre farm.

So we sit and wait for as his lawyer shows up and starts talking, debate.

7 3/4 hours later- sitting in the truck/ car.... we are sent back home with nothing on the truck.

Seems the show of moving van in the drive way got him coming up with some money.

So we sat all day, in the rain, for close to 8 hours.

Eassssssyyyy money.

Make a stand- yell, scream all you want with that keyboard. But you might want to remember the laws about copyrights.

Just saying....

Oh- and telling lies.

And starting the drama that you do, since you are calling that being 'bullied'.

In fact... you are about as two faced as they come.

One hand it is 'Oh my.... I am attacked, I am bullied by all these bad people." *hand to chest, swoon.

But then- two face is the words you like to throw out, isn't it? I think you even called me that yourself.

While on the other hide and do so much worst then they do. Lies, hiding, threating folks, being a bullie yourself.

"You hate in others what you hate in yourself." fits you to a T. Just a shame we have to put up with it.

Oh- the quote by someone, not mine. I don't claim other's work. :)
