Today I learned how to make my first bread. I did dinner rolls. Everyone loved them.

I also did another watermelon cake today. Just thinking about it, this person only has their birthday every 4 years. Hope they enjoy it!

Baking bread is a long process from what I'm learning. Made the regular cookies, banana bread, etc today as well.

I was watching my friend's live video as she interviewed an artist. The artist was talking about their kickstarter and what they fear. So I mentioned in the comments how I have a fear of fish. She does too! So I'm like I HAVE to be friends with this person lol.

I'm thinking about buying one of her books. It's got zombies.

Okay, that was so cute. I'm in my vegan groups, commenting on posts and then I realize... I know that person, indirectly. I know her husband haha. Sometimes I send him home with food for her to try because shes vegan.

This week was a busy one. I got my vegan fresh ginger turmeric cookies approved. But I also got to make my first vegan royal icing and it's got real orange zest. The cookie is sweet, and has a soft texture. The other ones are the same but with sprinkles. A very nice customer bought 5 for her kids. The rest are probably gone by now.

Here's a vegan brownie cake I decorated in chocolate vegan buttercream. I love how frilly it is. The buttercream is from scratch too. :3

I was going to show you a picture of how beautiful the steaks came out but I never got it sent to me. One of those things where you'll have to take my word for it.
I was so confident in myself and the hubby said, don't you realize this is big? It's your first entree.
I told him, how confident I was. Because I can easily equate food to art and if I'm 100 percent proud of my piece, I know anyone out there will enjoy it.
This is advice I would love to tell anyone out there. It never matters what a critic thinks, what the people think is what your piece represents. There will be people who tell you no. Tell you it's weird or don't understand. Never let anyone hold you back. No matter what.

In other news...
I made gluten free vegan chocolate mini layer cakes. Gluten free is not easy at all which is why you'll notice it looks crumbly. But I bought new cake cutters so hopefully I can experiment some more.
I used a coworker's vegan chocolate moose for each layer.

We had dinner at The Breakers in NJ. Google it, it's a well known restaurant by Point Pleasent NJ, which is a wealthy town.

Happy Valentine's day heart shaped vegan brownies. I was very excited to use my heart cutter. I felt like it was a valuable tool because hearts can be used for various occasions.
I made my own almond butter which is why you're seeing those specks. I like the almond in it because it's a very neutral flavor as opposed to peanut butter.

Mogy- Only because I didn't do the plating. So I'm not that proud if it doesn't look perfect lol.
This is a picture of the prototype. If it were up to me, I'd put it on the grill.
The inside of the 85 are red. It will be beautiful. I made sure to have the right color.
