Not a lot has been going on in the past six months or so, but I sort of felt like updating, so … *Shrugs*



After five years, I was going to leave my place of employment back in May. However, my employers made some offers and while it still certainly isn’t what I deserve, it’s good enough for now, so I stayed. I’d still like to get out of there, but how and where to go is a good question.



No update, really, on my thoughts of moving to California, but it’s looking less and less likely. I’d like to hold out hope, though, and I guess you never know. However, without a guaranteed job in the industry I’d like to work in, I’m not sure it would be a good idea.



One thing is for sure, though: I’d certainly like to find a way to acquire a fresh start in life one way or another.

Have you looked into online websites for job offers? You may have to fly to do an interview but it would be a way to get a job in the industry you're looking for. Just a suggestion... and it would keep that hope of moving there alive.

Not a bad idea, but I'm actually already pretty well-versed in what's available. Honestly, I wouldn't have to begin in that particular field, but it may be a good idea to at least try and find something, even if only part-time.
