someone near and dear to our hearts, has killed himself last night. He left a note for us and a will for his belongings to be given to his children. It is too soon to tell our younger children and we still need to identify the body but our hearts, that of myself, my husband and daughter, are breaking. We will not tell our younger twins until they get home and we know for certain. I prepared this post for facebook but declined to post it, at 6:37am, when i wrote it, instead electing to post it to vampirerave.com for now.
We saw his truck on the news and they said his dead body was found inside it, injured somehow.
I have not slept this last night, the investigators were here at 7am, they were able to confirm that our friend, Steven Leon Givens did die at about 1am this last night, in his pickup parked at mile post 45 on highway 26 near Manning Oregon.
Now, at 9am, the news says there was another homicide at his ex-wife's address which means he may have killed here, before ending his own life. They have not released the deceased name from the domestic violence incident from last night. we are about 99% positive he killed her, then killed himself. The real tragedy here is they have three kids, ages 17, 15, and 11 who are now orphans.

MANNING, OR (KPTV) -
Hillsboro police have launched an investigation into two deaths, one an overnight homicide on Grant Street and another involving a man found dead in a truck along Highway 26 in western Washington County.
Officers were called to the home on Grant Street late Sunday night, and they started an investigation into the homicide. They have not released any other information about the person's death.
Later, a Washington County deputy spotted a pickup truck on the side of the highway at milepost 49 near Banks and went to check on the driver at about 1 a.m.
Authorities said the driver was dead, and his death did not appear to be of natural causes.
State police detectives said the victim suffered some kind of injury, but they would not elaborate. The medical examiner is conducting tests, and more information is expected to be released later Monday.
A five-mile stretch of Highway 26 was closed off for about five hours while detectives investigated the scene. It reopened at 6 a.m.
The two death investigations are now in the hands of the Hillsboro Police Department. Police said the deaths are linked.
