couple of questions...when you do the funpass how are you supposed to do it?
Also pre paid tips...now we did this last year too but when we made purchases the receipts still had gratuties on them. Since this year it is all inclusive and we've opt for prepaid gratuities are we still going to get charged 15% tips to our passes when we get drinks?
Last year we looked at the line on the last night to try to get tips off of our bill and it was way too long so we said screw it, but I certainly think $140 is plenty of tips. Basically what I'm saying is, if they are still going to charge us that, then I want to see if we can opt out of prepaying tips because that line sucked and I didn't want to miss the deck party and don't want to miss it this year because i'm in a long line trying to get tips I already paid for off the bill.
Your prepaid tips are for the room stewards, waitress/waiters, and their assistants. I always think that they go above and beyond so I even tip a little extra at the end of the cruise. But everyone's experience is different. The tips when you buy a drink are seperate from the $70 tip. It's usually miniscule compared to the 2-3$ I tip I usually tip in a bar. If you do want to reduce your tip go to the pursors desk earlier in the week to adjust it when the line is empty. Don't wait til the last day!!! For anybody that does like their room steward or waiter/waitress give em a little extra in thoise envelopes they give you at the end of the cruise. They don't make a lot of money and they work so hard! Now the question about the drinks with tips with an open bar? ..... I leave that one to you Z!
Thanks for clearing up what the $70 are for :) I'm just curious if we are still going to get the tips charged with the drinks since it's all inclusive cuz if so I might walk out with a hefty tip bill since planning on drinking a lot.
I hear ya! If our bills are high from just tips then we are drinking champions!!!!!
Your on notice to do shots with Patti and Myself Sandy!!! You have a lot of making up with us drinking wise!! Be afraid..... VERY Afraid!!!!! And if you think we are bad wait til Bonnie and Clyde get a hold of ya....
No. You do not get charged the tips on drinks. The open bar package includes the gratuities already.
Z,
I know there was an issue last year when people filled out their Funpass, where they printed out their electronic boarding passes.
If I remember correctly, we are NOT, repeat, NOT, repeating again, NOT supposed to print our electronic boarding passes, right?
We should only print out our FunPass.
Did I remember right?
Also, by what date should the FunPass registration be completed by?
Thanks for your hard work...
Waaahoooo Great information :) Cheers...oh yes we will do shots we will
so I'm getting this subtle feeling that there might be shots on board.
well, last year there were shots in the rooms....
So all-inclusive makes it even more mobile.
Maybe we can make a scorecard for drinks on each deck, with certain people, etc.
who's good with Excel?
Remember.. regular priced alcohol is included. so shots are included if they are priced $7.50 or lower.
I'm up for the challenge..... so is Patti.
My reciept last time was twice my height.
Cruise traioning baby.... We are ready!
You want a war?!?!?!?!
I'll bring a War!!!!!
All right! I'm in too! If the shots are tequila I will drink you ALL under the table. Ha Ha
Shit, I get the feeling I might have to defend my title of "Tequila Girl".
You all are *on*!
*evil grin*
oh no, vodka, whiskey, & gin I'll drink . . . tequila just doesn't do it for me. that I gracefully step away from.
so it looks like its just you and me ansi! Whats your favorite Tequila?
Ansi, you and I will challenge him to Sandiistas and people might think he is a fun skin rug. ;)
Skully avoids tequila and whiskey because he likes having friends.....
A good bartender pal of mine got me hooked on tequila sunrises. But after a few I am a different person, and no one seems to like 'that guy'.
I will however rum you under the table.
Tequila?
uhgphrumm....
Can't even smell it without a gag attack. My first "Wasted event" was with tequila and have not been able to get near it since.
Now a nice vodka or a SoCo and lime, and I am there!
I'm up for the challenge..... so is Patti.
My reciept last time was twice my height.
Cruise traioning baby.... We are ready!
You want a war?!?!?!?!
I'll bring a War!!!!!
I wouldn't mess with Double fisted when it comes to shots.......might get real ugly!
But Crono is Martini Master.....
and the One Garbuz..... God knows what he is capable of.....
You like war? ... I bring Legion!
I have no fear, if available I wil drink it...
I've done my feats,I is what I is.
I'm getting eager to meet you all.

I looked on Orlando Airport Marriott's website and it indicated that check-in was at 3:00 PM and check-out was at 12:00 PM. You listed 12 pm as check-in at the start of the posting. Is there an exception for this group?
I've sailed carnival before and I had to tip the room and the Maître d' is the pre-paid tips apart of his tip as well or do we have to pay that separately?
The room steward is included in the pre-paid trips the Matre is not incuded but it is your choice to tip:) I was always give the steward a bit more cuz they work so hard:)
Hardk0re.. it is an exception for this group which has early check in.

Good to know as our plane will be arriving about noon on the 10th!
