So, another contest comes to an end. The wonderful work that chills and thrills us. Images that bring a smile or a wide eye glance of fear. Flashes, lights, the spoken word that transports us into the world you create by the stroke of a key. This contest always brings me joy.
As I sit here, writing a list of all who entered the contest- sorting the paid, free, story, poetry, etc. for the judges. Preparing the pages for the rates of 1 to 10, to tally who had the most votes as we have done over the many years.
As I prep all this, I visited each profile--

To ShadowBook telling tales from her book of horrors. Or was it really a book of shadows, a spell book to summon all the dark dangerous things that go bump in the night?
With HorrorCandy vampire surprise as a true desire is found.
Then the talented Vodka that brings the true horror hidden behind the drawn drapes, closed doors. Can you truly trust anyone?
And ending with Stabb own take on a vampire hunt, with a twist.
So much work and effort put into each of them.
