His ship sabotaged from under his feet, Sean Jacklin is cryogenically frozen and propelled out of the solar system by the force of the craft's explosive destruction. Adrift in deep space for over a quarter century, an ice encased oddity is discovered and investigated by an Alien pure energy life-form. Curious as to the nature of the frozen human within the craft, a part of the Alien life force infuses the man's body in healing his injuries and resurrecting him from the dead. A bargain is struck between human and alien. If the alien symbiotic life-form will help Sean seek justice over his attempted murder, then all Sean has to give will be given to his symbiote. Thus begins a quest for justice which traverses parsecs of space, two continents of the Earth, and a settlement on the Moon. Eventually though, the alien's own existence weighs upon Sean's mind, and he decides it must be returned to meld with its own kind. How that is to be done surprises all.
