A Mo'Tak Training Staff from the popular science fiction show Stargate SG-1. In the Season 5 episode, "The Warrior," Teal'c challenges Kytano to a battle for leadership. They use training staffs like this to fight, and Teal'c (Christopher Judge) kills Kytano (Rick Worthy) with the sharp edge of a broken staff. This staff was not used in the fighting, but can be seen in the background on a rack with other similar staffs. This training staff is completely made from wood and is designed to look as though it was carved by hand, with imperfections such as cracks, divots, and a crooked handle. The handle has been wrapped in suede with thin strips of leather. This staff measures approximately 47" (119cm), and apart from the intentional imperfections, this training staff is in great condition with only slight wear due to production use.
