Theodora's Profile at Vampire Rave.

Theodora was the wife of Justinian I and was born sometime between 497 and 510. Theodora died June 28, 548. She was a Byzantine Empress. Theodora has been credited with helping Justinian I to promulgate a new constitution and implement reforms to halt government corruption. Theodora has been credited with a number of feats which where unheard of for a woman in her era including, but not limited to, expanding the rights of women in divorce and property ownership. She was instrumental in establishing laws that gave mothers some guardianship rights over their children and forbidding the killing of a wife who committed adultery. She closed brothels and created convents where former prostitutes could learn ways to support themselves.

I chose the name Theodora because, to me, the name symbolizes strength of character and the ability to effectuate change in the lives of others.

I am a private person and generally do not disclose much information about myself unless I know you personally. If you want to get to know me better, feel free to send me a message and we will chat. I ask, though, that if you message me please have something substantive to say. If you message me and just say "Hi," I am unlikely to respond because it is extremely difficult to converse with myself, except on some days. :-)

I took a several-year hiatus from VR due to many reasons. I came back to reconnect with friends that I missed terribly. So many of my friends are gone in one way or another, it is bittersweet to be here.

I generally rate all profiles a 10 for several reasons: you are new here and are still working on your profile and do not need me to rate you low while you are working to create your profile; you do not know much about coding and either do not care to learn or have yet to learn; and, maybe you are busy and have a life outside of decorating your profile on a website. I also am of the opinion that just because your profile coding may not be my taste, it is likely that you placed a great deal of thought, time and effort into your creation and who am I to judge. That being said, if you are a jerk and rate me low just because you are an unhappy, small-minded troll, then expect a similar number in return. I choose not to associate with people who have lost their joy.
