An original Endor Bunker Panel from the side of the full-size Endor Bunker set that was built during production of Return of the Jedi in Crescent City, CA in 1982. This piece was salvaged by a member of the demolition crew on the film, who felt that he could use this and a few other panels like it as a fence in his yard. It remained there until 2003, when it was rescued by Star Wars collectors.
The design of this set, and specifically the paneling on the walls, is a very distinct style that was originally seen in some of the sets in Star Wars: ANH, such as the Lars garage. The panels on the front corners of the bunker are angled, but the ones seen on the side, buried into the hillside, are of the style offered here. The angled line in the paint seen on the panel coincides with the hill that the bunker that was built into - as it was given a final coat of paint after construction was complete.
The panel is made from fiberglass and is in overall good condition, with some minor wear and tear from the elements over the years, as well as some damage from the set being struck after production. This item will need to ship via freight service. The item measures approximately 71" x 51" x 6" (180cm x 129cm x 15cm).
This item comes with a Prop Store Certificate of Authenticity.
