A Geidi Prime guard’s stillsuit from the David Lynch Sci-fi fantasy Dune (1984) based on the book by Frank Herbert the film stars Kyle MacLachlan as the protagonist Paul Atreides. This outfit was one of many made for the production and can be seen worn by the guards planet Geidi Prime at various points throughout the film including the scene early on in the film when the sick Baron Vladimir Harkonnen (Kenneth McMillan) plans his revenge against Atreides (Jurgen Prochnow) with the help of his two nephews Glossu Rabban (Paul Smith) and Feyd-Rautha (Sting) to do this.
This heavily padded suit is made of thick vinyl which is a dark rustic brown in colour and features two front large breast pockets. It is done up right to the top with a zip and popper buttons. The legs are zipped up so it can either be worn as legs or without, they have straps attached to tighten if necessary and pockets also. Inside is lined with heavy black padded shimmering cotton. The shoulders have the black rubber oxygen tubes attached as seen in the film. This highly recognisable outfit from the cult classic has no sizes marked however despite its age it is in excellent production used condition.
