Jaffa Staff Weapon


A Jaffa Staff Weapon used in the popular science fiction series Stargate SG-1. This is the primary weapon used by the Goa'uld army and their Jaffa supporters. On the show, the staff would shoot an energy blast out of one end and featured a decorative heavy head on the opposite end for balance during close quarters combat.
This medium weight staff is made of hard rubber and painted a very dark copper color with a greenish hue giving it an aged look, as well as purple accents near the staff's base. There are intricate designs etched and crafted into the staff from top to bottom. Additionally, this piece comes with an adjustable long leather strap. This item features notable wear from production use, particularly on one side where the energy weapon barrel has been glued and zip-tied back onto the staff (see photos). The staff measures 82" (208cm) and is in fair condition with wear and chipped paint due to intense production use.
