Arnold Schwarzenegger plays Jack Slater, an action-film hero. When an old man who runs the theaters film projector hands a magic movie ticket to Jack's biggest fan, the kid steps right inside the currently playing Jack Slater film where he then becomes Jacks sidekick in gunfights and car chases. But when Jack's enemy gets his hands on the ticket, the action busts out into the real world where Jack refuses to believe he's a fictional character.
