Through a journal we see just a piece of you, a part that you want us to see. As you build your journal we see ‘aspects’ of you and the picture gets bigger. With each entry we see ‘you’ and your character building.
It’s like a window, you allow us to peep in briefly.
The picture you create can be beautiful, fun, honest and naive but nevertheless we read.
We read your dreads and fears and the nightmares.
We see you bickering about someone, I choose to smile at these entries as we all have that in our make-up.
But do you realise you are out there for the entire (online) world to see? Is this what drives you? Is it about attention? I hope not.

I do wonder sometimes if some things are all about attention, but, if we put things out there for all to see, then attention will be given whether it's good or bad.
I love these glimpses into people's minds.

I read then for the same reason. Once you start, you can't stop. :)

I am always fascinated by what other write.
I know it is true for me,and most likely for others too at times..Sometimes a journal is all you have to communicate with due to blocking etc.It isnt pretty, but it works in a pinch.

I want to be " heard" so yes I want attention and leave a mark.
I am aware that my journal is viewed on the whole web, and I write because I want feedback. If I think something is too private I dont post. I love journals.
