Ever since I opened my eyes and discovered how the world works, I've realized that in this world, there is no right or wrong, only survival and death. For us, survival is the only option. Everything else pales in comparison.

Self-preservation is always the highest instinct. The impulse to put self above others is always present. I've found that the trick to living forever is not to live forever, but to be immortalized and remembered forever.

For those who have failed to understand this simple truth, life or death fails to have meaning. They seek forever to find the reason for their meaningless existence.

The simple truth is that all life is vampiric in a way, that the the preservation of one is the death of another. It is simply Life's way of removing the feeble and retaining the strong.

Humans always say that they are civilized. They don't know that almost every concept they hold dear is vampiric in nature. Freedom is a vampire concept, the ability to do as oe wishes. Survivalism is also vampiric. We are committed to self-preservation and we put our well-being before others.

In itself, vampires are not savages, as the humans say. We are cultured and much more sophisticated. We possess abilities which suit us to our jobs and as such, we are more productive.

In all honesty, when it comes to human-vampire relations, there is still much to be desired and yet much has been achieved. This in itself is a victory, but I still find myself asking, will the humans ever learn?
