My name is Linsey and i'm here because I wanted to join a community that would have some of the same feelings that I have and who are open minded. I also wanted a place where my love and obsession with Vampires of course....is not so crazy and out there and so I can be able to have more like minded people to be able to communicate with. Most of the area that I am from well....it's frowned upon to talk about certain things or you're just considered crazy or bad lol. It's hard to find anyone around here that has anywhere close to the same interests and feelings that I have. I so far love it here on this Website and am looking forward to building up my level and profile so I can get more involved and get to be able to make some friends as well that I can visit with and relate to.
My husbands name is Chris and I love him so very much because he deals with all my quirks and obsessions lol. He likes the movies and texts of vampires but not all the time...he is patient with me though. He says i'm just a little too extreme sometimes but hey....when it's something you have obsessed over for years there is not really any letting go of it. I am happy I found him though because he is really a good man.
I love the Charlaine Harries * Sookie * Novels and of course the Anne Rice Novels as well. I have so many TV shows that I love I would hate to list them all here...it would take forever ;-) anything involving vampires and magick. Of course True Blood, The Vampire Diaries, Being Human, The Secret Circle, Warehouse13 also.....and the movies well I won't even get into those but just some of the basics I love Queen of the Damned, Dracula 2000, The Underworld Movies, etc... I also collect Owls. I love anything that has to do with Owls, don't ask me why I just have a strong connection to them for some reason and they are just so beautiful to me..... :-)
I have a pretty close, tight knit family, but they definitely think i've gone a little over the edge with the things that I read and watch. They know i'm different though and they accept that and that's why we all do have such a close bond. I love them a lot and care deeply for them.
I work 6 days a week buying and selling antique items and other misc. things with a few other members of my family all working under the same roof together. At times working with family is amazing and at other times it is a challenge just because they are the people who know you the best and know how to get to you if they want. Enough about that situation though. Some of the items we get in the shop are awesome and some are just kind of strange but I love it and them. You never know what you are going to see when you go in each day and it's nice seeing and learning more about history and how they did things and then how it leads us down to where we are now....during this day and age. It's crazy and amazing at the same time.
A little bit more about myself I guess.....I over analyze a lot and I think way too much at times. I don't think my brain ever turns off which can be exhausting but I wouldn't have it any other way....I think lol. This is what i'm use to so I guess it's okay it just gets frustrating sometimes cause it's hard to rest when you can't stop thinking about anything. Anyways, that's me! Overall, i'm just the type of person that likes to keep to myself, mainly when i'm out in public lol and I do have a good sense of humor but I am also very shy....unless you do me and or my family wrong....then I become not quiet so shy anymore lol ;-) Anyways, that's basically me!
