Construction's pretty much over though I'm sure I'll add some things here and there over time. Still a bit of a lack of pretties. I probably won't go searching for any but if I get any gifts, I'll definitely proudly display them here! :D Bit of an intro here to say that I'm in my first year of college so I may not be able to update this as much as I'd like. Wish I'd gotten into this earlier when I had more time on my hands, hehe. Thanks for the warm welcome though! Also, though I may not get to rating everyone back, know that it's totally appreciated. I'll be working on that along the way :D. Anyway, on to the important part. Me!

I may seem too quiet, but that makes me a good listener. I may seem like I'm spacing to other worlds but I observe everything people do. I may surprise you.

Though I don't play any instruments and can't sing all that well, I'm deeply passionate about music. I generally have a very eclectic taste in that I listen to most any genre of music except for rap/hip-hop or heavy rock/metal. The kind of music I'm most passionate about is rock whether it's classic rock, indie rock, or folk rock. Whatever genre I'm listening to can shift very easily whether it be rock to instrumental. If I find something new to listen to that I love, I will be happy for much of the day. I have too many favorite bands and singers to really list.

I'm almost as equally passionate about reading which says a lot. My taste is eclectic here too. I love to read fantasy novels but I also delve into romance and various other genres. Books offer me a great way to escape any bad things in my life and though I haven't experienced anything too terrible yet, I know they'll be there for me when I need them.

I don't watch tv much, but there are a few current tv shows that I love. I'm watching Supernatural, Bones, Chuck, Torchwood, Leverage and I'm (im)patiently waiting for Dollhouse to start. Old shows that I still love are Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Firefly. Shows that I don't like pretty much all encompass reality tv. Though I enjoy a few game shows, shows about Paris Hilton finding her next "BFF" seem very frivolous to me. Most other shows I'm fairly indifferent about.

I'm an open minded person so sometimes close minded people irk me. Especially if they put people down that have a different sexual orientation than their own. I'm a fairly quiet person until I get to know someone well and that may make me seem stand offish sometimes. That's not usually true though. I love meeting new people and learning about the things that interest them. But I think the fact that I'm quiet has actually taught me to deal with solitude in a fairly healthy way. Even when I'm alone, I rarely feel lonely because I've learned to live with myself and entertain myself. And I know that my friends are there for me and I'll eventually get to see them again.

This is a claddagh, often used on traditional Irish rings. The heart symbolizes love, the crown is loyalty, and the hands represent friendship. This relates to me fairly well. I open my hands to many kinds of friends and my friends tell me that I am very loyal to them. Love is sometimes harder for me to give but once I do it's unshakable...Course I'm also just obsessed with Ireland. The claddagh is my favorite symbol of Irish origin. :D
