Treatise for the History of Vampiri
During the time when Gods walked upon the mountain tops,in the forests & meadows,in valleys & upon the floor of the great seas,we were.
During the time when Sprites, Elves, Leprechauns,Centaurs & Satyrs, Mermaids
& all of the old Races left their dwelling places in the land of Faerie,we were.
We saw the emergence of this Humanity & how,as the young Race grew in
number & power,the other Races dwelt here more & more seldom,until,
finally,they ceased their sojourn here.
But,we remained.
I am of the Strigoi (feared in Romania).
We are counted among the Elder Races of Vampiri,along with the Lamia
(feared in Greece),the Ahkharu & Ekkidu (known in Sumer),the Lar or Larvae
(honored by Romans in ancient times) & many others.
We did not flee the human invasion,as did the Elder Gods & their associates.
We percieved this as a new feeding ground & how we did feed,the hunt was
glorious.
Some of the Kindred fed on the Spirit,some desired only the blood & others,
like the Strigoi & Lamia,fed on both the flesh & blood of the Prey.
However,whereas most of us were more than satisfied to eat the young Race,
others apparently had other designs.
So it was that these rebels mingled their blood with these humans & gave birth to half-breeds.
These hybrid creatures (known as Nosferatu to the Germanic people) lived briefly as mortal humans,then through the first death they were reborn.
These halflings inherited the thirst of their fathers' Race,but they also acquired the greed of their mothers' Race.
They would not be satisfied with sharing the hunting grounds,they desired it all.
They were Kindred in name only.
It was not this humanity that gave us concern,it was the half-breeds that became a bane to the Elder Races.
But,they have their limitations,weaknesses that the Elder Races do not know.
They sleep at certain times of the day,for it is at these times that the touch of the sun will destroy them.
Certain symbols (depending on any belief system that they might have known in their old life),certain herbs & trees,the movement of water & other things are as poison to them.
These limitations make them-----bearable.
So,we watch & we wait,until they either evolve & become truly of the Kindred & as family to us,or until we witness the last of them perish.
But,we----the Elder Races----are immortal,truly immortal with no means to meet death.
We've time & so we wait.

I'm originally a Connecticut Yankee & I moved
to West Virginia on 6/8/05.
I'm married as of 6/17/06.
With this marriage,I've also acquired a
daughter,who also loves vampirism.
I've been learning about religions,mythology &
lore,archeology & anthropology since 1963.
I've always been interested in science
(especially the earth sciences) & have studied
botany.
I'm a writer & have had some things published
on a small scale.

I'm a Free Mason (Master Mason) & have been
for a few years.

The Eight Virtues
(1) Justice-This is a double edge sword. Justice
may be given in less of a degree than an
act that is committed against you,but it
must NEVER be more of a degree. Do not
confuse Justice with vengeance.
(2) Honor-Treat others as you would wish to
be treated,with integrity & good ethics.
(3) Respect-Treat any who are respectful &
respectable with respect. Begin by
respecting a person at first meeting.If they
return respect & is Honorable,continue the
respect. If not,they are deemed unworthy
of respect.
(4) Truth/Trust-This is related to respect.One
who proves themselves truthful and
trustworthy,also show themselves to be
respectful and respectable.
(5) Love-This is a gift,do not waste it on the
disHonorable or unTrustworthy.
(6) Discipine-This is necessary in all
undertakings,to perform well at your
occupation,to stay the hand from
temptation,but most of all have good
Discipline over yourself.
(7) Charity-This should be given to the
worthy and the needy.But do not give
Charity at the dire risk of yourself and/or
your family.
(8) Mercy-This should,also,be shown only to
the worthy. Do not show mercy to the
unMerciful or the ungrateful.
Some will percieve Mercy as weakness and
will try to continue the battle
Note: The last two should only be shown to the truly deserving.
