Born in Africa, having African parents, i was raised like an African kids; to respect elders, to respects customs and take a beating without complaining. Africa is the land of mystery to me; tales of genies haunting trees or tales of evil spirits roaming villages are common scary stories told among us. I don't know if i believe in them

I am 18 years old and will be studying in NC in less than 2 months; excited about learning a new culture, meeting new people. I love listening to any type of music, maybe not so much country but sometimes I do. Rock, different kinds of rock music, whether its pop rock, metal, nu metal, any, makes me feel real good after i've listened to it. I love to write and it's a passsion, it's a way of escaping and creating. I love reading too; sometimes i close my eyes and imagine myself in one of those stories. My favorite author is edgar allan poe; his macabre tormented writing is a source of inspiration to me. I try to write poems too.

I don't have much self confidence in me but i am working on it. I am pretty shy and extremely introverted; most of the time im locked in my bedroom staring at the ceiling or reading or writing. i love talking to anybody; doesn't matter your age, gender, sexuality, education level, social status, i don't care...just talk to me :) hope u know a little about me...
