Métchif means hello. I am here to just have something to do and perhaps make some friends. I am not interested in hooking up with someone as I am married with two kids and very very happy. I am also a RedRiver Metis lady with a rich history and background. I am not just ordinary but not special either and wanting respect from anyone. I believe respect is earned and not just handed out.
I am not here just to advocate for Missing and Murdered indigenous women or just for my Metis and First Nations ancestry. but for all women that are missing all sisters of the female species. No one should go missing from their families.
The images that will be on this profile are all my artwork as a RedRiver Metis artist. I get my ideas from life and the scenes I see on a regular basis. I live on some very pretty land and my family will be making it into a farm along with some neighbours we will have a huge vegetable garden and fruit trees and share the bounty of the land that the Great Creator (God) to some, gave us to share.
I am a very private person and my everyday life may be interesting to me but it might be a bit boring to others. I do love a good laugh with my other friends here at home, I love to read when I am alone without the kids and hubby being home as to me that is my quiet time. I really do not go for blood and gore and all that stuff in a book. I love to do a bit of sewing, needlework, flowers, gardening, walking, all kinds of things that are useful and calming.
I do not shop for expensive things like mass marketed or manufactured, I love to show my support to local artisans in my area and in my own country. I like to visit farmers markets to get my produce when they are available in my area. I get my eggs not from the grocery store but my local neighbours and we usually trade for things. Yes folks I do that. I know what the product is and I know where it comes from.
I do not sugar coat things for people and if they are offended by what I believe in or stand for that is their problem. I believe in reality and truth. I will not be nice but I will be kind. I will not hurt someone with harsh words to destroy their hearts but I will not lie about how I feel. I will be someone's best friend but I will not let them walk all over me either. I will not gossip but I will defend those who deserve it. I will not give advice, but I will listen, I will not stand for physical, emotional,
abuse on any count, but I will do anything to help someone in need.
I will give food and water and clothing to someone but never money to anyone who is homeless, I will give shelter to my children's friends if they need it. I will not trust anyone until they prove to me that they can be trusted. I am not afraid of the devil because he should be afraid of my Lord and my Great Creator.
These people on the bottom are some very good Canadian First Nations Actors. Most people do not know this.
