I walked this path before...not so long ago, in fact, when one views time in its natural order. In terms of lifetimes, however, it was another one. I was a different being entirely, with hopes & goals that have since fallen away, leaving only the barest hint that they ever existed in the recesses of my soul. I come back now not to reclaim that which no longer belongs to me, but to be reborn...beneath an inky midnight sky full of diamond stars, as the Goddess watches...I have come home.

My name is Anna. Hopefully, you can tell by the above that I enjoy writing. I am not especially dark- blood & gore just for the hell of it is not my thing- nor am I especially "light," otherwise I probably wouldn't have found this site in the first place. I am both & neither equally...I am me. Fluffy bunny to some, gothic chick to others. Neither term offends me, because I learned a long time ago that I couldn't please everyone.

And I'm okay with that.

I'm Wiccan, (probably where the fluffy bunny part first came in,) a path I've followed since age 9, but I'm never going to consider myself an expert, as knowledge is never-ending.

I have a fiance, a sweet cat named Fessie & one beautiful little Pekingese named Bella. I lost my Salem July 4th of 2012, after about 8 years together. I miss him terribly.

Reading & music are as important as breathing...I have too many favorites to even begin to name them all, though a friend on here turned me on to A.A. Procter, & I don't remember his name, but I am eternally grateful.

Movie-wise, I am particularly enchanted with old Hollywood starlets Judy Garland & Betty Grable...& pin-up Bettie Page!

I'm in love with England...I have been since birth. It's where my ancestors came from, & where I long to be.

When I was here 5 years ago, as QueenOfDarkness19, I had a pretty profile. Apparently, my knowledge of HTML has become woefully inadequate, as I just tried to add a background &...well, you see how that worked. I'm working on it, I promise!

Not trying to self-promote, but please take a second to pop over to my journal & read February's entry, "A Note to New Friends," which contains my graditude...& info on my policies & things.

I have also just posted the beginning of a story in the appropriate section, & would love to have feedback. Please keep in mind, it is very rough- what's up is the first draft, there is no title yet, & I'm not entirely sure where I'm going yet, though I look forward to the journey.
