I'm an ElderGoth I guess, been in the scene since I was 13, and as long as that in the OtherKin scene as well. I awakened largely about then, but knew about myself since I was little. I’m Hybrid Vamp, feeding sanguinely, psi-, pranicly (sexual and non-) as well as elementally. I also have some Therian past- feline and wolf (past life). I've been Pagan most of my life, following both Celtic and Egyptian paths, all around eclectic, not strictly practicing. I denounced Christianity around age 11. I found out some of our ancestors had been burned as witches. I recently got married to my mate and we have a lovely 3 yr. old daughter- they are both Kin, he vamp, her undefined as of yet(but man she knows how to eat up energy). We're raising Seraphine in an openly goth/Kin/Pagan household, and will teach her as many paths as we can so that someday she can make up her own mind. We're also an activist household- her 1st protest was age two months.
My interests are as wide and varied as my personality. I’m a Leo in entirety- for better and for worse. I love to cook, am an avid gourmet junkie, drink wines, coffee and fine teas like an addict, love films, reading books, music, travel like the gypsy I am, and work in several fields of art media. I mostly take cemetery photography or architectural, make jewelry, clothing, dollz, hair falls, veils, and other things. I also occasionally write poetry and more recently am working on a memoir about my past incarnations as a vamp/Kin. I am a fanatic for corsets, shoes, petticoats, collectibles such as NightmareB4Xmas, anything Nola, anything around Dias De La Muertes, fairies, gargoyles, and other morbidities. I am also active in the Community, and work in the paranormal research field. I've been living my whole life also with psychic gifts- such as premonition, and the ability to contact the dead. Life as a kid was definitely interesting since both sides of my family had these gifts.
I like writings mostly in the horror genre, but can also get into historic references. Some of my faves are LKH, Anne Rice, Poppy Z Brite, Charlaine Harris, Marquis De Sade, Monica Richards, and I Hate Stephen King!! I also like some comics like Lenore, Gloom Cookie and JTHM.
Music wise I can vary from Darkwave to Old Skool Goth to ShoeGazer to Electronic and TripHop. DCD, TKK, KMFDM, Kate Bush, Cocteau Twins, Corvus Corax, Legendary Pink Dots, This Mortal Coil, VNV, Apop, Alien Sex Fiend, Massive Attack, Gorillaz, Siouxsie, Bjork, Christian Death, Bowie, Barrett, Pzycho Bitch, Seelenkrank, type O, Arcana, Gothica, Skinny Puppy, etc. I should be a Dj with my dang collecting cd's- ppl are always asking me for new sounds to find.
Movies- we're a fanatic household, constantly watching, thanx Netflix, lol. Again, it's mostly horror, cult films, some b-movies, independant, foreign, comedy, sci-fi, and period films. EX: Brotherhood of the Wolf, Wasabi, V for Vendetta, Stage Beauty, Tank Girl, Session9, Queen Margot, Amelie, Sade, Memoires of a Geisha, Ravenous, Boondock Saints, any Tim Burton, any Kevin Smith, Dangerous Beauty, etc.....
I am proud of my gay father and friends, and so I support LGBT rights!!!
