I've decided to update my portfolio's periodically. I'd like to do so every month but we'll see. First I'll share Certain music then art what I buy or create myself. Then I'll share pictures I've taken during the month. Then during next month just upload the previous ones to bottom section while showcasing the new ones in this main part.

When it comes to my magick I deal heavily with the Elements of the wise. You've probably heard of saying: "God is in all". Well for me such beings just occupy the astral plane created by physical brains throughout eternity but the true essence of something permeating every aspect of the cosmos throughout eternity is reserved to the four elements in different ways to me.

So here is my first picture this cycle that I began on the last quarter moon. I try to be as precise as I can with compass headings and altitude but most importantly with the timing of the event. Which I'll mark on the pictures as I format them to file size for this site. This picture was taken in Golden Gate Park.

Next we have the new moon. This doesn't show up but it would be just to the left and below of the sun in this picture by my understanding of compass heading and altitude. This picture was taken in a beach cave out over the Pacific ocean.

Next phase is the is the first quarter moon. As mentioned before I look to timing of the event and at this particular event when the moon was exactly in this phase down to the minute it was below the horizon. Thus this picture taken in a local park near where I live shows the compass heading and altitude in degrees below the horizon. I had planned to do it from a different place but right at that moment a park maintenance worker parked his truck and started working from it. I don't think it's good form to take pictures of people and share them on social media without their permission so I just hastily moved over here and took this one.

Here we go the last of the moon phases of this cycle the Worm Blood Moon. I was so excited to go out on this night because I really favor blood moons. When I first set out that night the moon was full and big clearly seen in the night sky. But when the actual eclipse started occurring the sky became overcast and remained so during the entire event. I did do a little ritual with my chalice and took this picture at Alamo Park.

The Spring Equinox. For some this is where Spring season starts. For me this is where it peaks having started around Imbolc and ends around May day or Beltane. This just designates when the day and night are the most equal. Now because of the time fluctuations from leap year and daylight saving time the actual time this year was March 20th at 2:01 AM PST putting the sun at a heading of 18*NNE at -51* below the horizon. In the pictures I took at that time first with iPhone at that heading then with surveillance glasses of compass app on iPhone. So you would have to imagine the sun rising from that horizontal plane at that time to capture that moment when the actual day and night time were the most equal and waxing to longer days for this moment in time.
