Who is Dr. Who?
Dr. Who is a Time Lord Alien who travels with his assistant, through time and space to rid the universe of evil doers.
Why are there different doctors?
This is called Regeneration, or the spawning of a new person. This is where Dr.Who regenerates his body, making changing himself, along with keeping him alive. This also helped a new actor fill the previous one's shoes when the time came.
Where did Dr.Who come from?
At first, the show was supposed to educate children on history. But soon, science fiction completely blew away the educational element, and the show thrived.
Is this a good show to watch?
Seeing as the show has been on since the 1950's, and is still going strong..winning Best Drama Series in 2006, and five National television Awards since 2005, along with the thousands, if not billions of followers, I do believe it is safe to say YES!
