I agree with Artemka's points. Simply blocking them may stop you from seeing the messages they try to send YOU, but it does nothing to prevent them from going on to the next potential victim. DO NOT delete the messages, Block the person and inform an Administrator ASAP!

Useful information indeed and although it might seem to be to specific to VR, as some of the fellow members try to point out, the article applies to all sites where you can create a profile page or something like that and where you can send instant messages (this applies also to instant messenger services, where someone can easily find out your e-mail)... This is useful information especially to the newbies on the internet profile pages.
