Typical Monday, 3 hour class with an exam and then lecture. But now, I am officially on fall break til next Monday!!!! EEEEEP! Time to wreak some havoc on here later!! I can actually stay up late for a change. :D

I hate when I write what is on my mind in here and then hit the *private* button, when what I really want to do is send it to someone in a private message. Decisions, decisions. Guess can't make matters any worse if I do. I will think about it while at work today. Probably puss out though.

It was a long but good day in the OR. I worked on 8 cases. The last 6 were cysto cases which move rather quickly and the turn around time between each case is about 5-15 mins. But usually closer to 5. My first case of the day was a modified radical mastectomy on the left breast and a simple on the right. Was close to a 3 hour procedure. Pretty crazy to watch. The 2nd case was a bowel case and it was about 1 1/2 hours. Tomorrow is already looking like a full day so I am in for another long one...

Triple layered baked ravioli, home made sauce with fresh green pepper, onion, garlic, shitake mushrooms, spinach and seasonings. Topped with 5 cheese Italian blend. Garlic bread.

Not too bad of a weekend for a change. I went to Indy to a friends reception on Satrday and Sunday I went to a charity event for a low cost spay and neuter program. Of course, I had to get in a bidding war in the silent aution...LOL It was a lot of fun and for a great cause.
