I loathe incompetence

So, I have to sometimes go to theses work dinners/events with my hubby. Most of the time it is at a place I have been to and already know what to expect. But being vegan, I always touch base with the Chef because I have had some go out of their way and they are happy to make something different. Those are usually parties of 10-18. So there was a huge event this weekend and I saw on the event centers page they accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten free etc. I call there and talk to the party coordinator for this event She says that the person from the company needed to contact her to put it in the contract since it was an up-charge. It was supposedly taken care of. We get to the dinner and I was starving. I had not eaten since before noon. Nope. No meal was ready for me. My hubs approached the work coordinator about it and she assured it was in the contract. So after an hour I finally got some overcooked pasta and sauce and tasteless roasted potatoes. Tomorrow, I need to figure out who fucked up. I am betting the coordinator for my hubs company did not call the event center.
