I go back home to Oregon on Saturday morning. Part of me wants to go home, I miss my kids and my BooBoo, part of me is afraid to leave here, but I think I'll always have that fear.

I was told just before Mother's Day, that my daughter is pregnant again. Found out today that she is 5 weeks and the baby is due to arrive Jan. 14. I'm happy about the baby, my daughter is a great mother to the one she has now, I'm just worried about her, cuz I know how hard it is to take care of two small children at the same time.

This is to the best man that was ever in my life, nobody will ever compare to him. He was my hero in every way, the day I got the call saying he wasn't going to make it, I tried so hard to get home to see him, but even if I could have it would have been to late, so my sister put the phone on speaker and I talked to him, he couldn't talk back, but that didn't matter, he could hear me. I told him that we would be alright, that he could watch over us from Heaven with Dawn, I told him it was alright to let us go, his little girls would be there for each other and we have been.



Daddy died the night I "talked" to him, it snowed that day also, it was December 16, 2012.

23 years ago today I gave birth to an 8 pound baby boy, I named him Michael, I was only 17 at the time, but he was mine and I fell in love with him. I stayed with his father until he was 3 and then thought I had found something better than what I had, -snorts-, boy was I mistaken.



I lost custody of Michael around the time he was 8 years old, I seen him every summer until the year 2002, I have not seen him since then, talked to him yes, written him yes, but not seen him physically.



You see, when he was 12 he decided to get stupid and land himself in a boys home until he was to turn 18, ok, I can deal with that, I got phone calls, cards and letters. Well, a month before his 18th birthday he got stupid again and is now sitting in prison, he has 3 more years to go if he doesn't behave.



Regardless of all this, I love him. He is my baby boy and will always be my baby boy no matter how old he gets. I love him unconditionally, but I miss him so damn much, that every year on his birthday (which happens to fall on mother's day every now and then) I do nothing but cry because I can't stop thinking about the day he was born and how happy I was.



So this is to him, granted I know he will probably never see it, but I had to write it...



I love you Son, and never stopped no matter what you do or who you are, you are a part of me for life, I will love you for eternity and beyond.
