so acting as Assistant Manager isn't so bad thus far. I am being paid by wage, not salary, which is better because they increased my hourly pay, so my boss is going to give me like 44 hours a week. And that is until February.
Unfortunately, the pay will not be on my next check but on the one at the end of the month, which is all good. And I will be back paid from November 28th.
I have a friend coming to live with me, I am hoping she will be leaving this week. She is in a mentally, emotionally and physically abusive relationship and she wants a new start. As far as he knows I live in an entirely different city.
And other news, one of my best friends is preggers by a 19 year old and she's 30. They were dating and he dumped her because he didn't know what he wanted. Then she just found out she's preggo. And YES IT'S HIS. So great. she thinks it's all the end of the world and I tell her to see it in a positive light. No more smoking, no more drinking. Two pluses I think! Everything happens for a reason, we are all given trials to go through, to gain experience and learn life lessons.
She is having issues living with her own sister and her 3 kids. She takes care of them and she is tired of it. She just quit her job because they are being asses. And she is moving back here, back to the parents. So she can find a job here to pay off debt, and save money. Cause she's gonna need it.
And I have never gotten the chance to see any of my friends through their pregnancies. And now I do. And I will be there for her as much as I can.
