The chili cook-off was a lot of fun! I did not place though, damn carnivores!!! I will have to mix it up a bit the next time I do one! But I did get to hang out with my good friend Heather and some of the members of the club and that made it worth it!

I have finally broke down and worked on my profile and portfolio! New background and center background, added quite a bit of new content and took some away. It looks a lot nicer now. I still need to add the protection stamps that I have gotten in my scroll bar, but that isn't too bad. Also a little more content. I added like 30 recent in the past month pics of myself and a few from outside. I have more to add and update the intro stuff a little too.

Aside from being a fixture on this site, I really enjoy spending time on another one, biology-forums.com. I ran across them when I would be looking stuff up for my classes. They have everything that is sciencey. Biology, zoology, conservation, anatomy, genetics, forensics, psychology, sociology and the maths.... and some others Now I go on there and help others with their questions. Like this site, you make posts and do different things and you move up in levels and you get badges and $$ to spend in their e-shop for fun things to use on the site. I know, what a nerd!

I went to Ikea yesterday and amongst the stuff I picked up, were some new bread pans since some of mine had to be pitched out. So, I decided to break them in properly and have 3 loaves of banana bread in the oven! :D
